Thermoflask Bottle with Chug and Straw Lid, 40oz, Black

I've had a few steel vacuum insulated water bottles like this and this is easily the best one I've tried. It hits the most important marks of keeping my water cold all day (even if it's been in a hot car for a while) and being leak proof, but one of the biggest concerns before I received the product was the straw lid. If you search around on Amazon for one of these bottles that comes with a straw lid, you'll find many reviews saying they work terribly. Even some reviews for this one weren't favorable for the straw. But I am happy to report that the straw works perfectly. This was actually the main reason that I was shopping for a new bottle, because the straw lid I had for my Hydro Flask would randomly become very hard to suck out of and I would have to partially unscrew the lid to allow more air in since the little air valve evidently wasn't working correctly. With the Thermoflask I have not had this issue one bit. Every time it's extremely easy to suck water through. And not only that, but the end of the straw mouthpiece is rubberized and feels well-made. The top of it is slightly rounded so it's more comfortable than some that have a completely square shape. It's also nice that nothing aside from the straw sticks straight up from the cap that you can hit your nose on when you go to take a drink. That was another problem I had with my Hydro Flask straw cap.So I would definitely recommend this a good quality alternative to some of the more expensive brands like Yeti or Hydro Flask. The one piece of advice I would give is make sure you know what size you're choosing. I picked the 40 oz not really understanding exactly how big that would be because it's hard to tell from the pictures. It turns out it's kind of massive. It's nice that you don't have to fill it as often and is perfect for taking on trips where you might not have access to water for a while, but if you're going to use it as a daily office water bottle, you might want to consider the smaller size or be prepared to grab a nice heavy object every time you take a drink. The 40 oz also won't fit in a lot of cup holders.

This water bottle will keep liquids cool. It is very durable and does not leak. The price is very reasonable for this bottle. It comes with two different lids. And with the different colors to choose from this water bottle is a must buy.

This is my first attempt at trying to carry my own cold water with me.Love it. The ice I fill it with can last all day. I stuff it with ice, then fill with tap water,(well water) it keeps the water nicely chilled and is just the right size for a big man size drinker like myself.I bet it's cut my soda beverage drinking down by 80%.Very handy.I guess if I could wish anything, is that it would have a two step diameter. It doesn't fit in any cup holders of any of our vehicles.The quick screw on lid had performed flawless with no leakage, dispite the fact I open and close it at least 30 times a day for now over 30 days. Still like new.I order a neoprene insulator to slide over unit as well. This just keeps it from getting scratched up and looking poorly.I carry this on multiple pieces of excavating equipment, so it's constantly getting banged around.It probably decreased ice consumption another 10-20%.I will buy again... Cause sooner or later, I'll leave it somewhere.

Great flasks! Bought this about 5 times already!

I bought this to keep my beverage ice cold all day at work. It's very hot at the foundry I work at and this thing keeps my beverage cold all day. I like to use ice in mine with my beverage and most of the time I still have ice when I get home from work. That's 8 hours that I still have ice. If I finish my drink before the end of the day the ice sometimes melt before 8 hours but at that point there is nothing in it to keep cold anyway. I gave this 5 out of 5 stars for leak proof because it is leak proof. The lid is plastic and doesn't insulate like the rest of the bottle though so it does get condensation on the lid that could make one think it's leaking. I promise mine doesn't leak at all. I gave this 3 out of 5 stars for easy to clean because yes it is easy to clean but you will need a bottle brush because it isn't dish washer safe. Also because the rubber seals don't come out easy and I'd like to be able to wash them and the space behind them. I gave this 5 out of 5 stars for easy to hold because it's slim and tall for a 40oz bottle so even smaller hands can grab it with ease. Also the lids both have handles big enough for you to hold it with 2 fingers comfortable. I love the handle because when I show up to work I am standing waiting to find out what job I will be doing for the day for like 20 minutes before I start and there is nowhere to put my bottle down. The handles could also be used to clip to a hiking bag or something like that too.

This is the second water bottle of its kind I have purchased. It has great insulation for living in Texas and playing outdoor sports. The water bottle is very durable and not easily dented. The size is also perfect. The water bottle comes with simple components that are easy to clean.

I bought this item for my daily routine, previously based on buying water bottles every time I was thirsty and also filling them from the faucet, Where I live water is drinkable from the faucet :), but the issue was that not all the time the water I drank was ice cold, bought this item to solve that problem, and it keeps temperature flawlessly, the only thing you need to do is fill the bottle with thick pieces of ice, bc if the ice cube is too small it will melt.

I take this thing to work every time I go and man, it has survived a lot. It also keeps ice frozen for 3 days!!!! Way better than a hydro flask too. It’s pretty cheap but definitely built heavy duty. I’ve only dented it once when I accidentally dropped it from high up but it’s such a small dent it’s almost invisible. Definitely recommend! Comes with 2 extra straws, another lid for hot drinks, and the lid for straws! I will definitely buy another one after my first one!
