After a lot of searching and trying many other rock-polishing options, I stumbled across these bad boys! Let's just say... life-changing! What was hours of polishing with grades of sandpaper and polishes, has now become about 2 minutes of work with the angle grinder going up the grades. Result: almost a mirror-like sheen! Finished with a natural stone gloss polish and I've got amazing polished fossils and rocks in under 5 minutes of work! If you're looking for something to give you a almost instant smooth and glossy finish, these are for you!

The discs are good, it would be good if the supplier could also supply the machine to fit the discs onto as they are very small diameters as a lot of machines are 6inch dia

I got these to polish rocks I have cut in half the results are good, I would recommend this to anyone.

What to say, brilliant. I had some granite I had cut with a circular saw, needed to chamfer the edge and polish the sides. Started at 50 grit and moved up. Currently at 800 grit and have 2 more to go. Loads of pads. No issues with pads coming off, screwed straight on to my ryobi angle grinder. No need for a pro, you can shape easily with the 50 and I imagine I will buff the whole surface with the 3200 grit just to bring the surface back. Brilliant

Initially the pads worked well but once you start changing to a finer grade, the Velcro adhesive pad doesn’t hold as well. A couple of the pads have come flying off despite pressing them on firmly. Also the pads have started to disintegrate on the edges so aren’t lasting quite as long as I’d hoped. But they have polished up the cut stones quite well.

Everything you need in the box to get a proper professional finish. Worked thru all the grits to gradually get the polished finish. Use plenty of water if you can and keep the speeds to as suggested and you will be very happy with the results! Cant comment of longevity, I polished about 3 linear metres of 30mm granite, but all the pads look like they could do the whole job over and over again! Great price & recommended.

All arrived good. I used this kit to polish a concrete table I had made and it worked. But the discs are too small, you'd need at least 125mm to use with a decent sander/polisher. I think these are only for 1 or 2 uses as the fabric behind the discs seem to come apart once in contact with water..
