SkechersMen's Go Walk Max - Effort Walking Shoes

So, this is the 3rd pair of these shoes, I have purchased. First the cons. They are NOT slip resistant, they are in no way shape or form water resistant (do not walk through we grass), the memory foam inserts wear out quickly, and the soles are not really made for long walks on hard surfaces (sidewalks, roads). I am a mail carrier and despite the cons listed above (some of them pertain to a daily 8.5-mile walking route) these are really nice shoes, ESPECIALLY considering the price. They feel great, weigh nothing and they keep your feet cool. My cons mainly relate to wearing them daily and with pretty extensive walking. If you are just wearing these shoes to go out, then they are perfectly fine. My ONLY legitimate complaints are, I wish the inserts had a little more durability and, I feel the same about the soles. The soles are an extremely soft rubber/foam that wear out fairly quickly and are about as slip resistant as walking on an ice rink that has been doused with baby oil wearing high heels. Again, these complaints are based on how much they are used on a daily basis but these shoes are fantastic. I have wide flat feet and these fit perfectly. I do NOT wear these in any sort of bad weather but in dry conditions, they are perfect. As a casual shoe they are great. Even to the extent that, I abuse my shoes they are good enough for me to keep purchasing them every three months or so.

Bought these for $36 to replace my aging Hoka shoes (couldn’t stomach the thought of paying $200 for another pair) and I am pleasantly surprised despite the very low price. I have wide feet, so I ordered an extra wide pair and they are very spacious and almost feel like slippers. The sole is very soft. It’s not terribly supportive but it’s still comfortable to walk and stand on. Another reviewer wrote the soles are slippery, I would disagree with that. I work in a hospital, which is what I use these shoes for and I have not encountered that issue on either polished hard floors or carpet. The actual fabric of the shoe itself is like a mesh and is very breathable. I feel like the overall quality is pretty good. It’s definitely not the same as a $100-$200 shoe like Hoka or similar. Despite that, it’s getting the job done and I am happy with the purchase. I will probably get a second pair in a different color. If I get a year’s worth of use out of this pair I will be very happy. I would definitely recommend them for the value alone.

I like how comfortable these shoes are. Only 1 issue the bottoms are to water absorbent and squeak when walking on hard smooth surfaces. Otherwise they’re are light and look great.

These are literally the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought right out of the box. I was very pleasantly surprised. I usually have a very hard time buying shoes, tried a number of pairs of similar style shoes, all poor fit or something off (arch, heel, length), and knew the moment I laced these up that I’d keep them.

Great quality and comfortable to wear working out very breathable

With so many sports casters wearing these types of shoes they fit right in dressy activities. They don't give the look and feel of a hard sole shoe, nor the support. they are still acceptable in most social situations. But I don't attend black tie gatherings.

These are very light and comfortable fit good I wear size 13 wide very soft bottoms will buy again when needed
