Itโs HUGE but awesome
This thing is fantastic, and worth every penny. I did a lot of online research before I got it, with trustpilot and other consumer review sites giving it four and five stars. When I went to check out, I got a pleasant surprise: I had a $100 Amazon gift card that I didnโt even know about, plus $38 and change in American Express credits! So first of all I got this for over 90% off, lol. Second of all, it looks tiny in the website picture. Like a little stick that you can stir directly into a cup. But it isnโt - itโs huge! You can blend a whole giant mixing bowl of mashed potatoes with this thing! Itโs basically a hand powered blender! I bought it to blend my homemade Matcha lattes, and it does an incredible job of that. It takes up a little extra space on the counter, but itโs so well-made that I donโt mind, even though I thought I was getting a small emulsion blender. If you donโt mind that itโs bigger and heavier than a typical stick blender, and you donโt mind paying the price, I would totally recommend this.

TURBO powered, two speed ,stainless steel hand blender - it's wonderful
My previous stick blender finally went up in smoke after a decade of service so went for the All-Clad one as a replacement....and I'm glad I did. Big family reunion with a weekend of jam making. We used this tool to chop up the berries into a slurry of beautiful jam making berry slush in minutes. So easy to assemble and take apart to clean, motor runs like a power house- with the higher speed absolutely turbo!. Great value for money in my opinion. Exterior stainless steel makes it a simple wipe down and it's fingerprint clean....so much better than my old white plastic one.

More Power Comes To Home Immersion Blending!
600 Watts of power and a larger blade/head can make short work of immersion blending. The 'secret' is to have enough depth of liquid in the pot you are using so that you can 'dial up' the speed and power without creating a splash. I'm a small household cook who has begun doing more home made fresh vegetable soups and vegetable cream soups. I've used a Cuisineart immersion blender for years with good results--but with lower power, things took longer. I had to precook vegetables to greater softness before blending. This 'stick' solved my problem. On those times when I cook for seven (including grand-twins), I can expeditiously handle the larger quantities while keeping the fresh-vegetable flavor. I LOVE this for my family cooking needs. If you are not familiar with immersion blenders, you will likely be REALLY IMPRESSED with how much better they are to use than food processors for dealing with HOT liquids. We all are too familiar with the almost explosive effect of starting to puree hot foods in the confines of a closed food processor or blender container. "Holy Cleanup, Batman!" People who just want smoothies don't necessarily need this much power. It is also true that the blending head diameter requires a larger container than my Cuisineart set did or than most smoothie makers will want. I use two kinds of vessels: a full liter borosilicate glass beaker and a restaurant style stainless two quart 'jar' that is meant to hold prep items in a cooler or to sit in either a hot or cold buffet system. The key is to have a six-inch diameter and an 8-inch or so depth. That's my idea of the optimum set-up for processing smaller (home-scale) quantities. For the whole family, I can use a ten-inch diameter stock pot to best advantage.

Very powerful and good quality
I bought this immersion blender to make Pai Tan ramen noodle soup, for which I need to blend the chicken with bones and all. This blender is very powerful and works very fast. It consistently makes very smooth blends. It is, however, very strong, and you will likely need somewhat strong hands to hold it steady.

Not perfect but really, overall, quite good!
I had an immersion blender for a few years and it was superb but I didn't realize at the time that most immersion blenders were not like that. And, so, unfortunately I did not take particular notice of the make and model. I tried about 3 or 4 well-known manufacturer immersion blenders after that one died (a plastic part broke that was part of how the stick stayed on the handle). Returned each of them for they were quite different from my original one; most were too heavy, some were so powerful that I had to have VERY deep container or whatever I was blending would spatter all over - including on me. Real problem with smoothies and w/small batch of Hollaindaise -which, surprisingly to me, is actually a VERY simple thing to me make as long as you don't have blender that will launch it into space on its lowest setting. So, finally, I found this make/model for a realistic price without a dozen attachments of which I would use only maybe two and it is not as heavy as the others, is easy to operate, medium to very powerful depending on setting you choose, sturdy and easy to clean. So, while it doesn't replicate my dead stick blender which would still be my preference, it does a quite satisfactory job on soups, smoothies of all sorts, Hollandaise and other sauces.

Perfect kitchen tool for aioliโs
You get what you pay for!!! This one is Awesome. I bought a cheaper one first and it took forever to make an avocado aioli. All clad one did it in 20 seconds I also puriied a tough pot roast in about a minute and a half for my dads gravy The only downside is that the lock is not very firm other than that perfect

Impossible to clean, very powerful, unsatisfactory customer support.
I bought this for two jobs, blending eggs for breakfast and a variety of soups over the winter. The smells emanating from the unit after a few weeks of use are vomit inducing and the support so far has not been prompt or especially helpful. Here's the situation: we owned a cheap cuisinart immersion blender for 7 years. It was low power, sort of lightweight and noisy but it got the job done and cleaned up easily until the motor died. When I researched a replacement it was right around the same time I'd decided to swap out all of our cheaper cookware with All-Clad stainless as well so I read some reviews and decided to make it a matched set. This is a sturdy and powerful unit but I make eggs every morning, for myself and my family. At first a began to notice little smell coming from the unit, so I took more care washing it. Then it blossomed into something really putrid, which left me reaching out to the manufacturer for advice, they of course suggested I wash it better and leave it upright until dry. This did not work... it seems to pull liquid up into the shaft while blending and it is impossible to get it out. I'm not the kind of person who gags easily. (I have kids and I'm always the one on puke cleanup when they get sick - no problem!) But I put my nose close to this thing once after a couple days in the drawer and I almost lost my coffee. For a $90 product I'm disappointed that it takes 2 weeks to accept it back for 'inspection' and I'm really disappointed with the fact that the inspection takes 3 or 4 weeks. I don't know what the final verdict will be but I've gone ahead and bought another cheap cuisinart which is working just fine and doesn't smell like death after use.

Super Power for a Super Price
I was so excited to find this immersion blender by All-Clad. I had been looking to replace my old All-Clad immersion blender since my husband accidentally broke. It was 13 years old and had always worked great so I wanted the same brand. This new All-Clad blender is so much more powerful. I made a cream of zucchini soup with it and it made short work of blending up all the zucchini. It has a nice long handle that allows for use ina large stock pot. I am please. The only downfall (if you could call it that) is I cut myself cleaning it....it is far sharper than my old one too so be very careful. Otherwise it was a great purchase at a great price.

Powerful, Fast and Robust
We love it! Really nothing to dislike about this All-Clad immersion hand blender. It is extremely powerful but the dial at the top allows you to easily control the speed of the blade to suit any blending task and any food density. We had other domestic immersion blender before that lasted for few years before the motor stoped working, but none of them was as powerful and as robust. At this price point ($100 to $120 CAD, 2019) it maybe double the price of other non-commercial hand immersion blenders, but after the first used it was clear thar it is worth every penny. It is slightly on the heavy side, (a a direct result of the big powerful, 600W motor and sturdy construction) but for the same reason we complete any blending task twice as fast than any other non-commercial-use blender we used before.

Best Immersion Blender on the market!
We have stand-alone blenders which I always use for soups (transferring from the pot), but my curiosity was piqued by what seemed to me a sudden popularity for hand-held immersion blenders. I know that many friends have enlightened me since that they have been popular for a long time now actually. I did some research, found that this All-Clad Immersion blender consistently received the highest ratings and ordered it. I am so exceptionally glad I did! I used it the day I received it and was blown away by how much better it is than the stand-alone blender I had been using for so, so many years. It is fast, easy to handle, powerful and easy to clean. I definitely am delighted to recommend it!
