Good for Thailand travel, but may not be needed
This travel adapter worked exactly as intended. I went on a trip across SE Asia from the IS and was worried about this specific plug in Thailand. It turns out I did need it in only one place, but other people on my trip got around fine without it. Unless you’re maybe getting away from common tourist areas to more rural area of Thailand, you honestly don’t really need it. However, it was actually pretty good quality and I had absolutely no issues with it. It held my 2-prong and 3-prong US plugs tightly but not too tightly, and fit in the wall in my hotel well too.

Glad to have this!
So handy for international travel. Also used a universal travel adapter as not all outlets in Thailand are the same

You might even hear angels sing as your devices come back to life. Safety? Oh, this adapter is safer than a baby in a bubble wrap suit. It's grounded, which means you can charge with the confidence of a dad telling dad jokes—without the risk of turning your devices into mini fireworks displays! Just imagine the shock on your face if your phone started smoking and your vacation turned into a horror movie plot. And let’s be real: this adapter is perfect for when you have the memory of a goldfish. If you lose one (which I totally didn’t do, I swear), you still have two more to save the day. So grab your Ceptics Thailand Travel Adapter, pack your bags, and get ready to conquer the Land of Smiles! Because nothing says “I’m on vacation” quite like a fully charged phone while you're sipping cocktails on a beach. Cheers to tech that travels! 🍹📱🌴

Pattern but not Voltage
These plugs adapt the physical architecture of plugs BUT NOT VOLTAGE. My example is that I had a cel phone charger that was rated at 240 volts but it did not have the plug size and prong pattern/physical architecture that matched the overseas wall plugs. These adapters married the two different styles. These adapters will NOT adapt 240volts to 120 volts. You will need an additional voltage converter to step down the voltage.

Very useful. I’ve got several.
I’ve bought several of these. Very helpful, but be careful how you use them: First of all, there is absolutely no issue using the USB outlets. They properly convert electricity to the USB standard. For regular electrical use, you should be aware that 95% of converters (like this one) will convert the “plug” from Israel/Palestine form, to USA form, but not actually convert the electricity. That is all you will need for many American devices, but not all! To understand, you need a bare-bones lesson. Without deep explanation, you don’t have to know what “volts” or “Hz” is … American electricity is: 110-120 volts, and 60 Hz. Israeli electricity is: 220 volts, 50 Hz. Many American devices MUST have the American 110-120 volts, 60 Hz (and ths converter will NOT be sufficient for those devices, because it will expose those devices to the “wrong” type of electricity, and can destroy them.) Many other American devices are designed to work under a wide variety of conditions, and those CAN ACCEPT the Israeli electricity of 220 volts, 50 Hz. To tell the difference, you have to look very carefully at the fine print on the electrical device itself. It might say, for example, that it can accept “INPUT” of 110-220 volts, 50-60 Hz. In which case, this device will work. If it says it needs an input of 110-120 volts, 60 Hz, then don’t use that device with this converter. You will need a much more expensive converter, running maybe four to eight times as expensive as this, that converts voltage AND frequency (“Hz”). That’s not a design flaw in this device! It’s doing what it’s designed to do! You just have to have a little knowledge in how to use it. And, don’t think you’ll find a better device anywhere near this price range that does what this does. It’s a perfect device for many of your American appliances. (And by the way, if you decide you may need the actual electrical converter, make 100% sure ht converts BOTH the voltage AND the “Hz”… I see a lot of items that only convert one and not the other!) Summary: this will likely meet all your needs. You just have ro look at each American device you’re bringing and make sure it will work vis-a-vis the electric plug. Don’t worry about USB devices, e.g. USB charger wires for your phones, ipads, etc., they’re all good to go.
