My family love these!
I purchased these last year for my family to surprise them for xmas! When my kids were young we used to be able to buy them from Walmart during xmas and I always put them in my kids stockings. Walmart quit selling them years ago and my kids brought these up in a convo last year and I searched all over the internet trying to figure out the name and where to get them. Although the price doesn't excite me, lol, I am happy that I will be able to purchase these once again this xmas to make my grown kids and their families happy. It's nice to be able to carry on a family tradition like this. Sometimes it's the small things that they remember the most! (They have a peanut flavor cream inside a thin wafer and coated in chocolate and are very good.)

A gift for my mom
My mother happened to mention her very favorite candy were the peanut butter wafer things we used to get from Walmart when I was a little girl. I hadn't seen them in years. I was so excited to find these. They're not as sweet as the ones from Walmart, but that was a bonus for me. The peanut butter cream in the middle is even better. It is mild, and very light. I thought $20 was very expensive, but I didn't realize just how much candy I was getting. I remembered them as being large, but thought that was because I was a child when I ate them. These things are huge. And my mother was delighted. Well worth the money.

Arcor Bon O Bon
We thoroughly enjoyed our orders of the BonBons---they are like Gucci versions of the old Southern recipe in which we stirred up all the Eagle Brand and powdered sugar and peanut butter, rolled it into balls, and dipped them into melted chocolate one by one, with a toothpick. The Arcor version translates that long-time favorite into a deliciously delicate version of itself, with a rich smooth center surrounded by the mere whisper of a wafer shell (And how DO they do that, anyway---I have visions of each one's being wrapped by magical hands, as they go down the line of white-hatted chefs). The whole thing is dipped in a perfect just-sweet-enough satiny robe of chocolate, and all our family simply loves the treat. It was lovely to find such an old family favorite right there for the ordering.janj

Sort of Second to the Walmart Sweet Enticements
I consider this a "sort of second" to a former product from Walmart, Sweet Enticements Peanut Cream Delights Bon Bons. I was surprised to find out how many people have and are looking for this former Walmart product! I have and continue to scour the Internet looking for the Sweet Enticements.I agree with the other reviews that there is something off about these in comparison to the Sweet Enticements, from the chocolate to the wafer to the peanut butter. Not wrong or bad, just different. I have eaten quite a few of these and cannot put my finger on what exactly. They are not stale, I can vouch for that.I will say that the more I ate, the more I liked them. Perhaps is best to not compare and just enjoy!

Finally Found Them Again!!!! Edit- quality has gone way down.....
Update - due to quality decreasing steadily over the last few years, I can no longer give these a 5 star review. Sadly, the last few delivered were expired.....------ Original ------;These are the best!!!! My family used to buy these when they were sold at a certain large retailer (founded by Sam Walton) under the name "Sweet Enticements Bon-Bon, " and every Christmas these were the stocking stuffer candy. Then POOF! Suddenly no more. Last Year I found them again, and while the are more expensive now, they are worth every penny!!!! Plus, they're Kosher! :)

Not what I was hoping for
I made the terrible mistake of believing that these were the same Bon-Bon's found in local Walmart's a long time ago from when I was a child. I had excitedly bought two bags of them recently because I assumed after doing some research into the history of the Sweet Enticements brand name that they were the same thing I had when I was a child:[...]These are not the same thing even though they are made by the same original company Arcor. These happen to be from a company in Argentina which produces many types of candy but they are certainly not even remotely similar to the Bon-Bon's produced by Arcor under the Walmart brand label "Sweet Enticements". The chocolate in these is very bland with no crunchy outer wafer shell which I used to remember, and the peanut butter inside has some kind of filler substance mixed in that tastes like olive oil which kind of destroys the entire point of the flavor. That's not to say there was anything technically wrong with the company or the product, just that I personally felt they were some of the worst Bon-Bons I've ever had in my life ever and they found their way directly to the trash bin after trying just one of them. If you are from a country which is not used to American chocolate and American Peanut butter you may have a different experience, but I really doubt it. Save your money and make em from scratch.

my favorite candy remembered
It is the same bon-o-bon that I had bought in Argentina. My favorite candy ever. Two concerns but they didn't affect my rating. It was deeply discounted more than 60%, i think this is even cheaper than buying it in Argentina 6 years ago not sure if it is near expiration date for liquidation. I generally disregard exp date anyway since i can distinguish food quality. The package has expiration date blank, but It tasted fresh; wafer still crunchy. The package arrives with a note that due to summer hot weather they can't guarantee the quality during transit, so don't return it for that reason, just don't buy it again. That is fine and understandable. It arrives fine; I live in a desert climate region. Why not put that warning on the product page before purchase/delivery?

Not a fan
I was hoping these bon bons were the same ones Walmart sold years ago. They do not taste the same, not as sweet nor do they have the same texture as Walmat's. These are somewhat flaky when biting into them. It reminds me of chocolate that is old. Not a fan and will not buy again.
