Post-surgery Perfection
Ordered this after seeing the positive reviews. I had a smaller pillow for my mastectomy and realized it wouldn’t cover the area I needed to protect after abdominal surgery. This pillow is super soft, extremely comfortable, covers my entire torso (for reference, I am 5’4), the pocket in front can hold a lot of things that are helpful to have readily available when you can’t move around. The whole front flap works as a hand warmer, or just a nice place to keep your hands. There’s a pocket on the back for the ice/heat pack that is included with the pillow. I didn’t use the strap to go around my waist but did use the strap around my neck for standing up and moving around especially if I wanted the things I kept in the pockets nearby. I highly recommend this pillow for post surgical procedures

Emotion support pillow
This pillow really helped with my hysterectomy. I wore it home to protect and hold on my belly on the way home from the hospital. I kept it on me or close by for the first week. I have big dogs so it helped keep a barrier if they tried to jump on me. Good barrier if you have small children also. You can sleep with it , walk with it. Put heating pads or ice packs in the pockets on the inside. Put your phone on the front pocket. Also great to support your belly if you cough or sneeze cause it’s gonna hurt. My emotional support pillow was fantastic.

The pillow is nice but I really loved the icepack!
I really liked this pillow and icepack set. I like to be able to wash things so I placed all of the loose stuffing it is filled with in a plastic bag to insert and remove easily. I also made it a bit firmer with a foam pad. It was great when I was in the car and sitting or laying down, I could use it behind my back or head. As I moved around more, I liked the front and back pockets & after awhile used this more as a purse to transport my stuff as I went from rm to room. It was kinda hard to see past it when walking at times (especially stairs,) so I recommend using it like a backpack or sling it over the shoulder then. I think at times wearing it in the front, it helped my posture a bit though. Definitely keeping me from bending forward. I think people stayed back a bit more, like when I went in for my f/u 🤣. I used the icepack the most after awhile since it was so nice and big. It froze quickly and lasted a really long time. After awhile though, I found it easier and more efficient to wrap the icepack in a longer shirt then tuck that into my waist band instead of keeping it in the pillow. The pillow is nice and fluffy, could be compressed fairly small. Especially at the beginning, when you have the coughing fits while recovering from the breathing tube or have to sneeze, it was nice to have the pack in vs out and I used both hands to push it towards my abdomen firmly IYKYK.

A Must-Have for Hysterectomy Recovery
This MOYOAMA Hysterectomy Pillow was absolutely clutch during my first two months post-op. The shape offered just the right amount of support, especially in those first few weeks when even the slightest movement felt like a lot. I used it constantly—whether I was sitting up, lying down, or trying to find a comfortable sleeping position (which it definitely helped with once I graduated to nighttime use). The adjustable straps made it easy to secure in place, and I appreciated that they were soft and didn’t dig into my skin. Bonus points for the washable cover and pockets—seriously, those pockets were lifesavers for keeping my phone, Kindle, meds, snacks, and the included ice pack/heat warmer within arm’s reach. If you’re prepping for a hysterectomy or helping someone recover, this is one item that’s truly worth it. Comfortable, functional, and thoughtful—an essential recovery staple.

A must have after surgery.
I was told by a friend to purchase a pillow to use on my abdominal area after my Laparoscopic surgery. As I reviewed many I choose this pillow. I must say I have no regrets. Let me tell you why this one stuck out after reviewing many options. I liked the fact it came with the hot/cold pack. This pack has it's own pocket in the pillow which was great it stayed in place while covering the area I needed. ( I did use a plastic bag in the pocket while using the cold pack just so the pillow didn't get wet.) Then you have the pocket on the front side which is great to put things in so you can keep things close by you so you don't have to get up or reach to far, like the phone, remote a snack, note pad a pen. You get the idea. Behind the front pocket is a place you can put your hands to apply as needed for coughing, sneezing, laughing, or just keeping your hands warm, or adjusting the pillow if needed. The pillow has loose filling inside so you can adjust to make you comfortable without buldged areas. Love the straps one for the neck with adjustable pad, and one strap for the back to keep pillow secure to the waist. Both straps are adjustable as well as elastic, and can be removed as well. You can use one or both straps at a time or just use the pillow. You should take in the car to use under your seat belt. This pillow seems to be well made and washable. It's great if you have small children or pets to protect that area from being bumped accidently. This is well worth the purchase and can be used after recovery as well. I would buy it again.

Useful and comfortable
The pillow isnt super stuffed. I kind of wish it was a little thicker.

I was grateful to have this in the hospital.
This pillow was so helpful in the hospital, and at home it's also a nice barrier so the dogs don't jump up and bump my incision. I highly recommend this pillow, it's so soft and comfortable to use and the straps keep it in place.

Was worth it!
I had purchased this before my surgery and let me tell you it was a great buy!! It helps so much. I loved the fact that I could put an ice pack in it and it laid in the perfect spot on my abdomen. It is lightweight and the straps help keep it on. The shape of the pillow was perfect and it’s super soft.
