Function and hidden.
Suited my purpose very well. Used under cabinets. I didn't want visible and I didn't want to make holes in my gorgeous marble. Was able to make a 90 degree turn in the corner. Took a little planning so I did not have to cut wires. Attached to the marble. I had the countertop installers drill 1/4 inch holes over the studs. Differently get the cap. My wiring was 12 gauge and difficult to fit all connectors in to the end cap, but it did. Tip. Several people gave poor reviews because it was difficult to attach face piece to base. With pliers squeeze the base to make them more narrow so the face piece goes on easier. Do this pior to installing.

Fast and easy installation and is amazing product
Don let the negative reviews scare you, took me less time to install than it did them to write there reviews. The power strip came with all the hardware needed and was complete. Instructions are worth reading, I found install videos on YouTube and had it figured out before even getting the product. Very low profile, hidden by my kitchen cabinets, lots of outlets and no more outlets on my backsplash is amazing. Definitely worth getting to fancy up the kitchen

Four Stars
Just what I needed to add more receptacle to island

used for under cabinet power strip
works well but it was a challenger to make up the terminations within the track

Nice and thin!
Worked great. I cut these to fit underneath my upper cabinets and hardwired them in and because they are so thin you cannot see them from the rest of the kitchen.

Difficult to install but no alternatives
I am a carpenter who has done extensive wiring to code in every house I have owned. Installed many light fixtures, recessed lights, breakers etc. I decided to redo my kitchen backsplash to glass tile and move the outlets up into a plug mold/wiremold strip mounted on the cabinet above. In order for these outlet strips to be code compliant they have to be 20 amp GFCI protected. So in order to do this I had to put a GFCI outlet in the cabinets above and then wire the plug mold off of that outlet. Why don't they make a GFCI plug mold!? They do but it is very expensive and very hard to find! Installing these plug mold strips is an absolute bear. They do not make the strips wide enough to accommodate the wiring needed. I understand they are trying to keep the profile very slim (1"or so) but they could easily make it slightly wider so that the wiring could fit inside without fighting with it for hours! Since this is a nice kitchen and not a workshop the bulky end feed fittings were not an option. Feeding the wire in the middle of the strip requires wiring the white and black to one end and the green to another end. Cutting the wires to exactly the correct length (difficult) so there is not too much wire to cram into the tiny space available. The connectors they provide are equally a pain to use - difficult to get them to engage - taking multiple tries and a great deal of time. One you have the wires cut and connected you then have to try to get the wires onto these lousy plastic clips on either side of the plugs (because there is no other space for them!) Hold the three wires on either side of the plugs and then rubber mallet the plug face plate onto the backplate. Have to do this without pinching any of the wires and dealing with the bulk of the cable entering the plug mold. Not a well engineered product at all and a royal pain. It took me approximately 2 1/2 hours per plug mold to get it done! They look and work great but what a pain. Unfortunately there really is no good alternative that is as low profile and cost effective. LeGrand please reengineer this thing and make it better! Or make your other under cabinet system less bulky, ugly and expensive!

Great!!
This stuff is great when adding receptacles and circuits in hard to reach or older areas. As a 30 plus years retired, union, journeyman, electrician, I've used a ton of plug mold and plug mold products. And, they make a device for any job that you can think of.

MUY PRACTICO
Le instalamos el producto a un cliente en su cocina y ha quedado tan contento que nos pidió más. Sus dimensiones y el color lo hacen ser muy discreto y fácil de ocultar.
