*[Non-returnable due to Hazmat safety reasons.] Two of these lighters did not have the lighting assembly, so they only work if i keep butane in them & push the tab down as if to ignite, then place near another fire source to get a flame. ( I demonstrate this in the video.) The wiring at the very top where the flame comes out - that wiring, is too frail to not have protection. I feel that makes for a faulty design as it puts limitations on the use of the lighter & requires that you must give these lighters special care so that the wiring does not accidentally get punctured. And it will if care is not taken. But, these lighters will give you a nice hot flame. The instructions said do not keep the lighter on longer than 30 seconds. Why just 30 seconds? Will the ignition wiring burn up? Idk. But, i did see several reviews here where several of these lighters have exploded inside homes. Are these lighters only supposed to be used to light candles as that is part of the description too? They should have more uses than that with the flame they are capable of producing. These lighters do not have batteries, so you can not charge them. I have several Suprus USB charged lighters to light candles & i love them. i bought them here in Amazon & they give me no grief. The lighters in this review are not heavy duty lighters or torches, but if filled properly, they do put out a good flame. And there are certain instructions one must know in filling a butane lighter to maximize its performance. So, don't get mad at the lighter. Learn how to fill a butane lighter properly. Also use high quality butane fuel. Given that only two lighters were in tact when I got them & the other 2 lighters could not strike, i don't think i would buy these lighters again. Besides, i saw something new in Amazon that i may get. Similar in style & size & not from this manufacturer. They are not a torch torch (neither are these), but i think they may be powerful & can do many things. Would i recommend these lighters to others? This is a choice only others can make on their own. These butane lighters work great and they are easy to refill.

I was really impressed by these and had no idea they had such strong flames. Great find! The flame is consistent and strong - perfect for lighting anything honestly and way better than standard lighters. I got these to light candles and melt some cocoa butter that I have in a jar and both have worked great so far. They are also refillable which is a nice touch. I ordered the “Tone” colors and got 2 teal, 1 red, 1 grey. I know they are given randomly but happy with the colors I got!

I like this type of lighter because the extended neck keeps your finger from being burned if you light something horizontally or even down at an angle. Unlike a similar Bic lighter, these have a strong touch like flame that is windproof and is easily directed at a wick or other object. Also they are refillable.

As long as the price does not inflate I will buy these forever. They are easier to use then other lighters. I bought the name brand and my thumb got sore even lighting a deep candle, but this lights with ease. The flame comes out strong. Yes they are like a Mini bow torch but not powerful enough. They light jar candles so well.
