I’ve bought this tape time and time again. Not bc of quality just bc I’m clumsy. It’s lightweight enough you don’t need a belt when you put it on your pants (16ft). The first foot has 32nds. The lock always works well and it’s easy to read.

I have the 12' foot version and I wanted so bad to like it. It has a perfect readout at any angle and has fractional markings. The outside case looks and feels very sturdy. The blade is absolute junk. The retraction spring on these tape measures is so strong, my end twisted and bent the first day on the job and there is now a permanent crease right after the last rivet holding the tang and the reinforcement plate underneath. So pissed I bought this. My grandfather always used lufkin tapes and wanted one of my own.... these are also made in China. I'm gonna go buy a USA MADE STARRET or stick with the tried and tested stanley.
