Make sure to measure everything before you buy.
Was larger than the one in my range hood but my fault for not checking and measuring, this is of my own fault. Would buy again. Make sure to measure how it mounts and check shaft diameter before you buy. Was super easy to adapt, just had to drill 2 small holes, but these problems were of my own fault. Item just as described. Works beter than the one that came in my range hood. Definitely moves more air or cooking steam and smoke etc... 10 out of 10

Exhaust fan replacement.
Bought this to replace original motor in my Airstream. It had gotten so loud you could barely talk over it. This paired with the 6" blade worked great. No modification needed. Easy install and much quieter.

Fit perfect worked great why no mounting screws?
This motor was an exact replacement for the old motor and worked great. My only beefs are the lack of new screws to mount it to the bracket. Be prepared to go to the hardware store and get 2/ 3MM screws x 1/2" long as the old screws probably wont work because they are SAE. For 30 cents I think the manufacturer could include 2 screws. Also the wiring coming off the motor is odd. Instead of 2 longer equal length leads you have one very short lead and 1 very long lead. You may have to splice on a wire to make this work

Direct replacement
I purchased this motor to replace the original fan motor from a Ventline range hood from a 1990 Camper trailer. I unscrewed the old motor and replaced it with the motor I received and it was a direct replacement. I was able to use the same screws I took out of the old assembly. Worked like a champ and the price was excellent.

Much larger than original BVD0218-00 compatible fan motor
My Grand Design trailer has original RS-385 PHC2-17100B VDO 18-00 Kinmore fan motors. These round shaft motors are BVD0218-00 compatible. Lacking sizing information in the ad, I thought worst case I would drill out the plastic fan to accommodate the d-shaft. Nope. This is a much larger motor. While there is clearance in the vent dome, you would need to drill out the center hole, add new mounting holes for the screws, go buy 3mm screws (they are not included) and drill out the fan to accept the larger shaft diameter. Also, this fan motor has cooling vents on the shaft side which will be covered by the mounting plate. So it will likely die an early death. If you need this fan motor, it seems like a very solid motor. Looks well made. But it's likely not worth trying to save a few bucks avoiding the much .ore expensive OEM motor that is ACTUALLY the right motor.

Exact Fit and Easy Installation
I bought this motor to replace the vent van in the bathroom of my Bounder motor home. There are multiple heights for the motor so be sure to measure the one you are replacing. Easy wiring and works like a charm.

Installing took way longer than it should have.
*Tip: if youโre replacing an original fan motor from an rv or trailer, youโre gonna want to buy the fan blade that goes with it. The new motor has a slightly thicker HALF MOON shaft and my original was just a small round hole so I ended up having to buy the fan blade after receiving the motor. Motor: Itโs a slightly bigger size than my original, so I had to drill a bigger hole for the main shaft, and drill 2 new holes for the mounting screws. But most importantly, it did NOT come with the mounting screws. And of coarse the threaded holes were a bigger size than my old mounting screws. That ticked me off because I had to drive 15 minutes to the closest hardware store and dig through boxes of screws for 20 minutes before I found the right size. With all of those things combined it turned a seemingly simple job into a slight pain in the ass that I was not expecting and didnโt really have time for. Oh, and the wire that had a teeny tiny bit of solder holding it onto the the new motor broke off in the first 1 minute of handling it. I had to find some electrical connectors that would fit over the male spade on the back of the motor rather than solder it back on, which is what they should have done in the first place, and was how the old one was. With all that said, itโs slightly bigger and seems well built (besides the broken solder connection on the back). And itโs definitely more powerful than my old one.

Nice replacement for both the ceiling as well as the stove vents. Does not have attachment screws
This is the same motor for both the stove vent as well as the bathroom skylight vent fan. Would have been nice if they had included the two screws in the bottom used to attach it, but no biggie.
