My wife's HP Pavilion laptop's battery wouldn't hold its charge and over time wasn't taking a charge at all so I decided to replace the battery myself after looking at a couple of YouTube videos - looked fairly easy but getting the correct battery proved to be the problem. Tried 3 from Amazon that showed in their description and photos the correct part numbers and volts/amps but got 3 wrong. Finally got this one and everything is all OK. Don't just believe what HP suggest as a part number 'cos there's lots of versions where only one part number makes sense but volts/amps were wrong. This one seems spot on - getting 100% charge and mobile time without being connected is back to normal. Don't be put off changing the battery yourself but be aware it'll need to be calibrated to HP settings and format, but you can use HP Assistant to help manage this. This battery was almost a fifth of the price of a genuine HP so as a cheapskate I stuck to the task of eventually getting the correct one AND, amazon's returns system allowed me to do this worry free until I got it. 😀

I bought this less than a year ago. At first the battery seemed fine but then I notice after a few months it didn’t really seem to last long. Then ran into a few issue with the laptop not turning on or not lasting long after it did. I thought I t may have been the laptop itself especially as the laptop was not turning on for more than a few seconds lately even on power outlet. I’ve opened my laptop yesterday and took the battery out s show in rhe pics it’s warped. the laptop now powers on fine with the battery removed . Ive certainly not had. A years worth of use woth this battery . Pics attached

Swapped out the manufactures original and with the supplied tools and the help of YouTube the laptops good as new. Been in several weeks and no problems at all. Very pleased with the purchase. Performance save as when I bought the laptop.

Easy to replace old battery, worked well with laptop - battery life like new again. No issues until 9 months in, reduced battery life, dies randomly, diagnostics say capacity is at 25% of normal, will have to replace again. Ok value for money for short term fix, but be aware that may not work in the long term

I got this for my HP Pavilion 15-CW1500SA laptop which had intermitently started to restart, upon opening the laptop the old HP Original battery (HT03XL) had started to bulge so I tried this as a replacement. Upon fitting I plugged in the power to make sure it was charging up and the power indicator immediately started flashing with a white light - the battery wouldn't charge. I reconnected the old (bulging) battery and that went straight to the orange charging light. This battery was a dud for me - looks like I'll have to source an original HP Battery for my laptop.

Since replacing the battery on my hp laptop this has been perfect Can’t comment on how long it will last but had it in my laptop 3/4 months with no issue and stays charged as it should

Only had this a couple of months worked fine for a couple of weeks, charged and held its charge, now it doesn’t hold any charge. Would not recommend.
