adidas Men's Terrex Agravic Tech Pro Trail Running Shoe

I only wear comfortable shoes I like to look at. Some of my favorite shoes going back 10 years would be Puma H Street leathers, Adidas Crazy Explosive, Altra Escalante. All light, comfortable, attractive shoes. One would think these type of shoes would prepare me for the Terrex Agravic Tech Pros (modern materials and look), but the Agravic are unique. First of all they have an inner that secures around the foot with the boa system. There's an outer sleeve that zips up around the ankle for added support. I call the shoe lightweight, but they are heavier than I'd expect when holding in hand. There's very real structure/firmness to the sole, but I wouldn't call the upper that protective. There's nothing convenient, or easy about these shoes. You kinda have to fight them to get them on (sure this improves with wear and time), but once everything is in place, they snug up to my foot very nicely. My foot is a mens American 10, and the 10 fits perfectly - I know this too because I always use an after market insole, and it (the after market insole) is exactly the same size as the removable insole included with these shoes (from heal to toe). What is weird is my foot kinda moves around in this shoe in a way that would be alarming in other shoes - but? There's nothing to rub on like in any other shoe. If there is any issue on the trail with hot spots, I'll re-visit review. I think these shoes really are specific in their purpose and usefulness. They don't have the structure or protective nature of legit hiking boots like my current favorite the Arcterix Acrux TR GTX, but they offer more support than the average low top trail running shoe. They may not be water proof, but certainly protect from the environment, and while running/hiking could be worn at lower temperatures. They should be very good spring and fall activity shoes. The sole appears very sticky, functional, and they are very comfortable with the cushion. With the Boa, I recommend really cranking them down, then release, move foot a little (to get just a tiny amount of slack in the boa lines) then snap back shut for best comfort fit. fully admit this review springs from a very positive first impression. after extended wear, if there is any issue, I'll revisit this review. (edit) - had these for a while now. They have held up well, durability. Haven't really gotten any easier to put on, but are Very easy to take off. Warmer than I expected in Very cold weather. If these are put on warm, they stay warm for quite a while (hour or two), even in freezing temperatures. I have only one critique - if foot/ankle is hurt injured, like a sprained ankle - putting these on can Really be a chore, and a little uncomfortable. The amount of effort and foot movement to squeeze in is significant, which is generally not a problem, but can be, situationally.

I bought these on a whim, I thought the zip tie thing was gimmicky but it actually works out great. I wore these in the Sahara for sand boarding and had NO sand in my shoes thanks to the tight fit and Velcro ankle strap. At the same time they also did not make my feet hot and sweaty, they seem quite breathable. 10/10 for trail/off-road purposes.

I run a lot! These I use at the local whitewater center they have outdoor trails and hiking in the mountains. I cannot find a better fitting and more comfortable shoe! I wear them even when I’m not hiking many people laugh or comment at the shoe because of the side white piece hanging out but that lace system is amazing!

This shoe made me want to hike more! It is incredibly comfortable with the ability to customize the fit. The shoe is also waterproof and easy to clean. I will wear these down to the sole and get another pair!

After seeing a relative wear them for his walk to and from work (several miles each way), I asked about them and he raved. He went on and on about them being comfortable, having adjustable webbing on the inside, being water resistant, great support--couldn't get him to stop the infomercial. Eventually bought a pair. Then bought a second pair for the future.

This is my 4th pair of these shoes. I love them. I use these for walking and for fashion. When they have seen their best days they are great to do outdoor or around the house stuff because they are so comfortable!

Están muy buenos agarran súper bien en casi cualquier terreno, solo en piedras mojadas sufre, pero no he visto ninguna marca que no lo haga. Los cierres y termo sellados impecables, la tecnología boost amortigua muy muy bien. En climas fríos entre 0 y 5 grados centígrados se sienten muy cómodos, no sientes el frío. Son bastante estilizados y se ven muy bien con shorts, pants, pantalones de trail y jeans. Cómprenlos cuando salieron estaban casi al doble de precio hace 2 años.
