I have been looking for months for an upflush system. Using it in my basement for my "mancave" bathroom. It is being used as a laundry sink kit until shower gets installed. Let me say I was a bit nervous, but this thing is awesome. It shoots the water up and out in less than two seconds. It is smaller than a shoebox, but it can move the water for sure. The directions are kind of difficult to understand . It come with installation instructions for their other products also. Installed a two way air valve inline since it goes up five feet to meet sewer drain. Again this product is AWESOME!

Excellent product, very helpful cust service / install support
Functions exactly as described. Very compact unit, installed for a wet bar. Instruction sheet awful at best. Plumber had difficulty finding the vent outlet (a well hidden knockout), but followed a prior Q&A response and called Mark. ("The max vertical is 12 ft on the Sanishower, so this unit will not work for that situation. The Sanivite is a gray water pump that can elevate to 16 feet, check out that one. If you have any questions feel free to call us 866-658-0505 Thanks, Mark The SanifloStore). Mark was available and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Great solution
I was not aware of this technology- what a great solution. Hopefully it holds up over time.

Works Perfectly
This item was easy to install, and works perfectly. It is small enough to fit easily under the sink in a bathroom vanity cabinet. My only (small) complaint is that it is noisier than I would like: but since it is in a guest bathroom that will not see constant use, I can deal with it.

I recommend this product for anyone who wants to install a ...
This was purchased for installation in a finished basement. There are two sinks that drain into a common drain that empty into this unit. It functions extremely quietly and effectively! One sink is a small bar sink, the other is a utility tub in my home art studio. I have nothing but positive thoughts about the Sanishower and will be turning to the Saniflo company soon to purchase a macerating pump/toilet system for the addition of a bathroom in the basement as well. I recommend this product for anyone who wants to install a sink or shower in their basement but don't want to go through the cost and hassle of tearing up the foundation to install traditional plumbing drains.

Could Not Be Happier
This was our solution to a basement shower where no drain was available. Works great. Reliable. Suitable for its intended purpose. One thing learned if you dont use shower for a while the trap dries out and you get some mild sewer gas push back. Running shower water for 1 minute fills trap again and all is good. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a basement bathroom where you dont want to rip up the floor to put in drains.

very useful.
Pretty neat that it allows you to put a shower or sink pretty much anywhere. It seems to work great. The cord is fairly short and with its wattage you don't want to use an extension cord if you can help it. It does stink from time to time but a little bit of vinegar in there once every couple weeks seems to work.

Pump died after 10 months
UPDATE: SANIFLO called back, at last, and said they would honor my warranty. So, I've added back a couple of stars for that, but it's not a 5-star product if you can't rely on it to keep working for at least a year. When this works, it's great. You can put a shower anywhere and not worry about it. But when it fails, as it did in my shower, the 2-year warranty might not be worth anything. I've been calling and emailing Saniflo for days now during what the company's recorded phone message says are its regular business hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, eastern. The phone message says that the company is closed and to leave a message or call back during "regular business hours," which, of course, is when I've been calling. I assume that the company has curtailed business due to the pandemic. That's understandable. A great number of businesses are struggling right now. Nevertheless, if they don't respond to customers, it still makes the warranty worthless.
