Under color it says green but all the pictures show clear color. What color are people getting lately?

Actually; it’s translucent in that you may not be able to read through it like clear tape. Not green. The beauty of this tape is the filaments are cross hatched. Typically; filaments only run parallel to the tape offering strength if you try to rip a piece of tape off like duct tape but little strength and easy to rip length wise. This tape is very strong cross sectionally. It is awesome tape. Please give it a go. You won’t be disappointed. Great tape! Good luck!

Can this tape be used to hold carpet edges together on top of the carpet? Don't want a two sided tape.

This is a strong fiber-glass reinforced tape that I use for mailing packages. It holds well to it's destination and needs to be removed by cutting. It should hold carpet edges together. Once it is stuck, it is difficult to peel off.

Seller, what is tensile strength, i.e. pounds per inch?

I have no idea. It is the apparent strenght of a filament strapping tape. It worked great for me.
