I bought this to try magnet fishing in our local canal and wanted a strong, good quality magnet without paying a fortune. The kit comes with the magnet itself carefully packaged away in a very quick padded compartment along with a long rope with a good quality carabiner-style attachment, gloves and some thread locking glue to ensure the clasp won't come undone once attached. The packaging is of good enough quality to be retained as a box to keep everything together.The magnet is very heavy and makes a massive plop when thrown into the canal! This sent my dog running away in terror! It would probably easily lift something like a bike frame or shopping trolley if the magnet could get enough surface area in contact with the ferrous object. Many of the comments here do not seem to appreciate that the magnet is only going to be able to work to its maximum specifications if it can get purchase onto a sufficiently large surface.This is not a shortcoming of the product, just a product of the laws of physics.All in all a good product for the money if magnet fishing is something you would like to try.

Great value for money cheapest I could find across most platforms really are strong as frick I bought 2 an wanted to see how much pull they had... ye DEFINETLY do not get your fingers between them they snapped shut like a fat bird falling of a chair and you couldn't just wisp her back on her feet I had to tie one of them to a tree an used my 4x4 to pull them apart whilst my friend hit downwards with a rubber mallet you can not pull them apart by hand and god help you if you got a finger between themFound 3 nails and a push bike wheels hahaha

This magnet is not as strong as they make out it . It’s rubbish infact struggled to pick up a tin of beans off my kitchen floor I would not waste your money on this

All I can say is these are the best on the market this is now the 5th magnet I have bought from Wukong and there amazing, so strong and much better than anything you can buy on ebay. Love this kit and the price is good for what you get ! Anybody that wants to start magnet fishing this is the kit you need comes with everything and so simple to use you won't be disappointed at all

The magnet is alright heavy duty well made magnetic force is good can pull a bicycle out of a river after a few attempts but nightmare to separate when catches another magnet the scraper is about as use as a chocolate fire guard to flimsy easier to wipe off with a glove or cloth the rope is alright Frey’s abit quicker than I expected it to but is nice and strong all round the clue is really good keeps the screw in well and secure even when gets wet all round in my opinion it’s good for the price obviously there is others in the market which will be better but my first time with this I was impressed with the product my ratingWould be an 8.5/10

I thought I would find my gold earring in the sea but it didn’t wouldn’t pick up gold I sent it back but it was a really good magnet
