Newbie Tape In Honest Review
This is my first time ever having extensions and I got two packs of the 20 inch tape ins. I installed them myself after only ever installing tape ins ony friends hair. So this is my honest review as a total newb. First off I was slightly worried about the striping of colors of the extensions out of the package but I found after they are in my hair you can't see any stripes and they blended really well! My color match is very good however I realized I probably would have needed one thats darker blonde at the root and fades to ash blonde. The insta was relatively easy. It took me probably ten minutes to get the first one I'm but once I did that it was smooth sailing for the rest! A octagon mirror would have been super helpful but I made do with a standing mirror and my bathroom mirror. My hair is naturally thin and fine and blonde. So being able to conceal them was and still is my biggest concern. I focused mainly on the back of my head at first then added pieces to the sides ofy head. I waited about 72 hours later to actually wash my hair at which point I was very nervous cuz my hair was super greasy and I had a ton of hairspray and dry shampoo in my hair. After washing them and my hair was all fluffy and clean they were concealed perfectly and had I straightened it they would have been even more beautiful. I do have one extension that I placed a little too high on the side of my head that I'm thinking about removing and moving it a little lower. The feeling of having them is definitely something to get used to. Im used to just running my fingers on my scalp and I forget and then touch my head and I can feel it yanking a hair or two. After about a day or two they were more comfortable to sleep in. Im using a children's silk line beanie bonnet thing that adjusts tightness on my head to sleep in and protect my hair. I have never had long or thick hair iny life and I'm 33 and I can tell there's added weight. If I wear my silk beanie too long it gives me a headache. I think these extensions look absolutely beautiful and I think trimming them would help blend them however I cannot bring myself to cut them cuz 1. They're too pretty and 2. I plan on reusing them and idk how I would place them back in order to get a good look again. These tape ins are not the invisible edge and I think for my hair type that next time it would be better if I did get the invisible edge. The other thing is that the tape ins are wide for my hair which makes it slightly harder to conceal even though they are just standard width for tape ins. So another thought I had to help blend these the next time I do them is to fold one piece in half on my hair to make it smaller instead of making a two piece 'sandwich'. And tbh if installing these myself, that might be the easier way to go instead of trying to align both pieces up behind my head which was the most difficult part. Overall I love these extensions and trust me as my first ones ever I shopped around and these were an excellent price and the quality of the hair feels amazing!! They did lose some of that brand new hair softness feeling after the first wash but it only made it feel more natural. After more practice with tape ins I plan to try microlinks to compare the concealed-ness. Very worth it and I'm on love with my hair!!! Pics should be in the order of first installed, first outting and styled, first wash when wet and after first wash and air dried.

Great starter extensions!
This is my first time ever having extensions, so that’s the point of view from which I’ll be evaluating these extensions. I’ve been having issues with hair thinning for the last year and my hairdresser finally sold me on the idea of tape ins. She recommended that I try these Full Shine hair extensions from Amazon because she’s had other clients wear them, and they’re very cost friendly for a newbie who may not end up liking extensions (spoiler I love how I look with extensions. The extra work is worth it). Up until this point, I assumed that hair extensions were always in the thousands, so I was very surprised to be able to buy the two packs I needed for $80. She had me buy a pack of 16 inch and a pack of 14 inch. I bought extensions lighter than my natural hair color and then hand dyed them myself using the dye I put on my roots and the color came out beautiful. I purchased extensions that had highlights in them, so that when I dyed them myself, there’d be a lot of dimension in the color, and it worked out. My hairdresser placed these, so I did have professional installation, and you can see the results in my before and after picture. Pros: these extensions are soft to the touch, and they actually blend really well with my thin fine hair. However, even though they feel soft, they’re definitely a coarser hair than mine, which is great because that means they actually hold a curl. I can curl these with a 2 inch barrel, let them cool, and then brush out the curls, and I have amazing waves that hold all day. I’ve been really happy with the texture of the hair. I wore this set for six weeks and none of the tape slipped with me washing my hair about once every 5 to 7 days. I did use heat styling on these and everything was fine. They felt heavy at first, but after the first four or five days I got used to the feeling and as they started to grow out they became more comfortable. I had them taken out at six weeks so I could re-dye my roots and move them up. Cons: these extensions definitely shed a lot. In the six weeks I wore them, everytime I brushed my hair there was hair all over the sink which has never been a problem for me. And when I was cleaning them up and examining them for reuse I could definitely tell that the used extensions (versus the few leftover new ones we didn’t use) were about 25-40% thinner than the new ones so these extensions do lose hair rather quickly. Some of the ends got pretty scraggly. That being said, even though they were visibly thinner, I still went ahead and re-taped them and had them installed for a second six weeks. My hair dresser ended up trimming off the raggedy ends. The after picture attached is actually day one of my second six week cycle so those extensions are six weeks old. I think 12 weeks will probably be the max for these extensions before they are too scraggly to rewear, but that’s still really good for $40 a pack I think. Another con is that they don’t come with enough tape strips to fully re-tape all of them. My hairdresser had to give me some from her stash. If you are brand new to extensions, I’d say for sure give these go. But I’d recommend having them professionally installed if you can. I think there is an art to placing these so they are comfortable and concealed, which is what you get when you pay a hairdresser. Ulta has good rates for a professional installation.

I purchased these back in August for filler and to my surprise they were very good . Great quality no thinning at the ends consistent the whole length of hair,? great color! was worried due to photo on site but turns out the color is way better then I expected and matched perfect it was lighter than photo showed but not too much, it’s perfect . My next concern was how well would they hold? as that seems to be my only complaint with tape ins . but I have not had even one slide off or even come loose the tape is strong and leaves you confident you won’t be dropping hair in public . Major bonus ! I wash almost everyday and use conditioner too, I’m not very good at going by the washing and sleeping in them rules, these suckers are tough as nails!! they have survived through the lack of respect that I inflict at times. 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟from me . Thank you full shine for quality hair that makes my life so much simpler. I ordered another set yesterday, need to add length which will give me the layered look I like . So As I sit here and write this review I am patiently waiting for the Amazon driver to deliver, That’s the other plus in this story, they are so fast! over night delivery that’s what I’m talking about . I promise you will not be disappointed, and if you are? then I’m sorry! but I’ll find it hard to believe that you are not 100% satisfied . I have been using tape ins for 8 years now and I have used so many different brands trying to find my perfect match! A little over Two years ago I found it finally and was very very pleased! finally the hunt was over. Unfortunately about a year and a half later they did not have my color available or any other color for that matter I was bummed out ! Had to order different brand, but I kept checking and one day I got lucky and was able to order my favorite , but only once, then I couldn’t find them at all, so back to the drawing board I went , full shine has won my heart. And I hope this will be a lasting relationship ! I use color 16 highlight/22 blonde 18” SHINE ON LADIES! YOU ARE BEAUTIIFUL

#2/#8 & #2/#6/#18 Colors! Great customer service, great product!!
****Final update 2021!*** couple years of use! I have only used this hair for the past few years now. It is my favorite. The hair quality is wonderful especially for the price. It Is always consistent looks great and blends great, and the tape is perfect now. My hair stays in anywhere from 8 to 14 weeks even, depending how well I was taking care of it. It is the only product I recommend to all of my friends. They also have an awesome loyalty program basically where you order so much when you get free hair! I consistently have people telling me how much they love my hair and are blown away to find they are extensions and even more taken back to find out how inexpensive they are and that I do them myself. I love you fullshine 😍 **Update 2019** After changing my original review previously from 5 star to 1 I was contacted shortly after by a rep from the company. They explained that the tape was too strong before and they had to fix it and in doing it might have been made to be not adhesive enough now. They assured me they would be discussing with their manufacturer about this issue and offered to send me all new hair as well as a thing of extra tape. I am extremely satisfied to know that the customer service was so great and on top of trying to resolve this issue for a customer. In doing so I’ve changed my review to 4 stars being that I don’t know how these next extensions will fair since I did agree to try one more time, but the customer service is wonderful. **** original review 2019 I had never done tape ins before these. Freaked me out thinking about the possibility of tearing out what little hair I do have ha very fine and thin. I have tried every other style of extension to give my sad head of hair some life. So I decided to take the plunge. I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and decided to go ahead and do them myself cause I’m a DIYer. The hair came on time, just needed one pack for my hair, super soft and matched perfect. Installed myself first time, took an hour. They looked amazing(see first pic). I did some slight trimming and blending myself since my natural hair is pretty much one length. Tons of compliments but definitely took getting used to; I got the 24 inch so I felt like I was always going to sit on them. The ends break after awhile since they dry out figured I’d get my monies worth just by trimming these lol. But I don’t know if it’s my fault or the tape, they started sliding after 1 or 2 weeks. Finally no salvaging after a month of reheating one piece here and there. Did a second whole new set, same thing happened. I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner but I do take a lot of baths and sweat a lot with exercise, so maybe it’s my fault the tape failed both times. Kind of a late realization lol. Going to buy a round again cause I did like the hair and the price is great, and I’ll try my best to thoroughly scrub and not condition before install, and no bath soaking with conditioner water lol. I will update my review after. Oh also tape was a little shiny so can see through my thin hair if not covered enough haha

can’t recommend enough
i am a customer who has been trying these extensions since July of this year. It is now almost December and I just replaced my old set with this brand new one today (first photo) the second photo is my old set after 4 months of reusing. i am shocked at how long they lasted!!! i have to say, the color match is perfect to my original blonde. my hair dresser is genuinely impressed by the quality and color match of this product for the price. one slight downside is the frizz and heat resistance. if you have a solid hair care routine (leave in conditioner, salon grade shampoo and conditioner, consistent hair oiling, etc.) then it is manageable. the shedding isn’t too bad for the price of this hair either. i highly recommend these!!! they’re a very affordable option.

Disappointed but glad I was able to save with a color correction!
3 stars because I do enjoy the hair quality and it was a nice density. However, the 613 in the hair was definitely more of a 60 than a 613. I color my hair a warm honey blonde with lowlights so I was anticipating the blonde to match. The lowlight color was also pretty reddish in my opinion. I attempted to fix the overly platinum blonde and was thankfully able to warm it up using a 7G. However, I’m upset as I wasn’t planning to dye these. Usually 613 is way warmer. I reached out to the company via the day I received them but haven’t heard back. I would’ve just sent them back, but I have a very important event I ordered these for so I had to improvise. Attached is a photo of the extensions I ordered (10/613) compared to standard 613. You can obviously see the 613 is way too platinum in the FullShine brand and not warm enough. You can also see how coppery red the lowlights are in the second photo. The last photo are the Fullshine extensions I color corrected myself plus SUYYA 613 installed with them. They do blend well when installed after the color correction - but had I not done the color correction, these would have not blended. I will also update the review as I see the longevity of these and I am definitely hoping to hear back from the company! :(

Great quality, natural feel & look, and thickness is perfect!
Th hair quality feels amazing and thick all the way to the ends. It stays in great, even through brushing and styling, as well as sleeping. No funky odor. Looks natural. Has natural shine to it. It doesn’t tangle easily like synthetic does or poor quality hair. I love it. Super happy with my purchase. This isn’t the first time ordering this brand and it definitely won’t be the last!
