LOVE this tape measure. I love the tick marks are labeled for easy measurements. Durable enough that the kids can help with the projects. Lock feature works well and retracts back in. If you need a good price and a good tape measure, this is a great option.

THIS IS GREAT TAPE MEASURE!!! The numbers are big, beautiful and clear. No counting notches, the halves, quarters, and eights are written to make measurements easy, fast, and more accurate. The tape feed is very smooth and superior to most other tape measures. I’ve used. The price is even great!

Pretty damn good. Tape holds it's rigidity over spanned space better than both my DeWealt, Husky and Ace hardware tapes of a similar size that are all 3x (or more) the price of this one. Sturdy build quality as well. Well done.

I give the product 4-Stars and the packaging one star. Product: I bought this product mainly because of the Speed Mark measuring feature which for me is very useful. The tape measure is heavy, which I think is an asset. It feels great in your hands and is stable for hands free operation. It appear to be a high quality device based on its feel, looks and sturdiness. Things I do not like about it: I was hoping the actual measuring section was constructed of plastic for rust reasons. Also, the measuring section is concave in design. I'm not sure if this is manufactured this way for a reason or not, regardless I would prefer a flat measuring section. Packaging: The item was very, very difficult to remove from its original packaging. If you are not careful removing the tape measure while using a utility knife, you can easily cut the rubber coating or your hand.

To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I love this Komelon Gripper Speed-Mark tape measure. My old thin/cheap one that I used upstairs finally pushed me to the brink to the point where I wanted a new one. I have a Craftsman that I use as well but that is in the 'shop.' If you're using a cheap tape measure, you know the dance of trying to get the tape to stay extended with our bending because of the cheap gauge of metal used in the tape. Not so with this Komelon. It's extremely sturdy. In fact, while holding the tape measure I can extend it almost 8' unsupported before it 'breaks.' Pretty incredible. Additionally, the gray tape is very easy to read and I love the measurements being listed in 1/8 increments with unlisted 1/16 marks as well. The roller mechanism is smooth and the locking mechanism sturdy and secure. A tape measure is one of those things easy to skimp on early in life when you don't understand the difference quality makes. And then when you upgrade, you'll never go back. This is the case with this Komelon and it's an easy repurchase if I need another one. I've even considered replacing my trusty Craftsman.

Very well made. Will do an almost level standout of 7 feet. Way better than most tape measures I have spent 2 to 3 times the cost of this one. Lock works perfectly; Not too tight or too loose. Tape edges are not sharp. Easy to read. Fairly heavy and very solid. Rubber outer casing works well to prevent slippage. U.S. brands need to take note of this company's quality and price point. I don't know how it would hold up in a professional setting, but for $10 and home use I don't think you'll find anything better. The one I got was a product of S. Korea assembled in Viet Nam.

A very handy, small tape measure. Great for work when installing siding. If it survives at least 2-3 months, I will buy only such tape measures
