FAKE MUSIC
I regret not having read the reviews on this item before purchasing it. The versions of the songs ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL VERSIONS! As to the woman who gave it five stars and played the CD's at her daughter's 12th birthday party where it was greatly appreciated by other children in the same age bracket, If they were old enough to have even been alive in the 80's, it is highly doubtful that they had ever been in a Disco dancing but instead in their beds sound asleep.

This is NOT ORIGINAL ARTIST recording. The description is misleading. On the back package, it is mentioned "All selection are new stereo recordings, except selections marked (*) are the original recordings. Of the 36 songs, only one has an (*) ! And even that one, is different from the original song. It mentions all the original artist name yet it is not performed by them. Normally they should write that it is a new recording performed by xyz and I got caught in the past not reading such fine prints - but here, you will never know who is signing. One thing is certain though, it is not the original artist as mentioned. GARBAGE.

Not Original Bands!
This CD is not the original bands playing their hit songs. It is like a high school band playing all of the songs and not even as good as that! I know each of these hits like the back of my hand and I immediately knew I was hoodwinked!

Worst CD EVER purchased
If you have "Disco Fever' and want to get rid of it, just purchase this CD. By far the WORST Quality CD I have ever purchased. I am familiar with all the songs on the CD and this CD sounds like I recorded a karaoke session out of my garage. I made it through half of the first CD and couldn't take any more. Anyone thinking about getting this, just email me and I will gladly send you mine, or I'll just save it for the $.50 box at my next garage sale. 0 out of the FIVE stars for this one, although I had to put 1, as it would not allow 0.

The is NOT the "best" of disco unless you have never HEARD disco! Not the original artists and all live performances. Garbage! Lies! DONT.BUY.THIS. ITEM!

Yes better than other 12 cd's purchased
At least it was exactly as advertised not so impressed with the other sellers of so called 'used, excellent quality' cd's! All the other 12 yes 12 skipped or stuck on one groove for hrs !!!!! I will never purchase another cd unless its from amazon store. I've been buying for years & never been so dissatisfied but for .99 & 3.99 for shipping I figured I'd save a few bucks on so many purchases, never again cuz now I have to contact each & every seller to return for a refund, like I have the time for this crap.Not a happy camper nor was my house guests for a cookout!
