The NanoVna SAA-2N VNA is excellent value.
My NanoVna SAA-2N VNA gives a top-notch performance, rivaling other analyzers at a fraction of the price. The 4-inch LCD screen is easy on the eyes. The only minus I've found is that you must manually save the calibration data for each frequency band, which is not a biggy if you work mainly in one or a portion of a band. Recalling calibration data is as simple as pressing a button on the touch screen, and speaking of which, the touch sensitivity is perfect. I opted for the N-type connectors with better longevity than (tiny) SMA. SMA-to-N-type adapters are easy to use. The unit is in a strong metal housing and has an easy-to-use zipper-style protective storage/carry case. Highly recommended for ham radio work and experimentation.

It works great
I purchased this device after reading an article on making filters and testing them with a VNA, I decided I needed one for my home lab. The last time I used a VNA was at work using a commercial very expensive table top unit from a major manufacturer of test equipment. I wanted one that went to 3 GHz since I like to build VHF and UHF ham radio equipment. The use of N-connectors lead me to this one since SMA connectors are fragile. It also has a metal case. Some of the VNAs do not have a case or have a plastic case. I went to the website in the included instruction sheet and downloaded the software for my iMAC and my Windows laptop. The software works great on both computers. The website also has detailed instruction manuals for the computer software and the software on the VNA. It can be used without an attached computer but is easier to use from a computer. Other vendors of VNAs include a set of attenuators with the VNA. This would be a worthwhile extra. There are three cables in the box. 2 are N-N male and one is N-SMA male. It is not clear from the description that the N-SMA is included, since it is part of the test kit. I am glad I spent the extra money to get the 3 GHz bandwidth and the N connectors. By the way, all of these VNAs are copies of an open source VNA project. I have had the VNA for about a week, so I can't comment on long term reliability. But the entire kit including the VNA seems well constructed.

Okay for the price, and it can connect to nanoVNA Apps.
Connects well to my computer, and is compatible with multiple nanoVNA apps (nanoVNA App, nanoVNA Saver, VNA QT all worked). That's great, I've tried a couple different models from other brands that were problematic.Unfortunately, the unit I received was missing items (no cal set(s), missing a cable), which the seller said they're sending me. However, it's coming from overseas, so it will be a while before I can properly use this. I tried calibrating with adapters and a set from another VNA, but the results weren't great. The screen is smaller than I would prefer, but it looks better than the pictures in the ad. I wish this model was updated with a USB-C connector instead of the old micro USB port. The photo in the ad is weird. It looks like it might come with 2 cal sets, but I got 0. One cal set would be enough to get started. I'm not sure what the SMA looking pieces are supposed to be in the photo if it's not a secondary cal set.Update: The seller took care of the missing stuff, and it's all good now. Good seller, good product.

Well worth the extra money
I replaced one of the smaller NanoVNAs with this. I considered those $50 VNAs to be useless junk. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and functionality of this one.The connectors and cables are lab grade and very high quality. I had this up and running RL and IL tests in under 5 minutes (including the initial calibrations). It's not a $50,000 network analyzer, but its performance really isn't that far off for 99% of what I do... and for the money?Yes, this could be used for antenna work up on the tower, but modern antenna analyzers (like those made by RigExpert for example) are much more user-friendly than a VNA for antenna work. This is intended to be a bench top analyzer and it performs that function very well. The S11 TX port is essentially an analyzer that does pretty much the same functions as a hand-held antenna analyzer, but the addition of the receive port brings in a new dimension: this can also do RF insertion loss measurements. This was a much needed function on my test bench and allows me to do filter work.Don't waste your money on the $50 VNAs. Buy this one.

Feature packed test instrument
I have had this NanoVNA-SAA-2N for only 2 days. There is a steep learning curve to be able to use this instrument properly. I have observed another owner using this unit to test antennas for problems, tune cavity duplexers and troubleshoot long runs of coaxial cable. Decided to one for myself. They work very well and are a bargain at this price.

Fix the USB port!!!!!
Good vna for the money, BUT, the usb port doesn't seem to be a standard microB. USB plug will come off, and the unit will reset rendering your calibration and measurements useless. This is why I gave it 1 star.
