Definitely a must have item, especially considering the circumstances going on in our country with these "centers" popping up like weeds! I have used these a few times and they work great! water tasted like, well, pond water, cause thats where I was getting the water. but not all that bad! nice portable water treatment tablets that are simple to use, self explanatory obviously but you gotta let them dissolve COMPLETELY first, then stir or shake the water, then cook or drink it! again ive used these several times over a 20yr time period and have never had any health issues, nor have I heard anything from anyone regarding health related issues with these! these particular tablets treat 4 gallons of water per tablet! I use them in my 5 gallon portable water jugs and 1 works great for that amount but I wouldn't go any more than 5 gallons without adding another tablet. very simple to carry as they come in a small bottle, basically like a pill bottle. manufacturer says their good for around 5yrs but IF keep away from heat, humidity and moisture they'll last for over 10yrs!! i have several tablets that are vacuum sealed and this bottle will be vacuum sealed as well!! i buy a few of these every yr and seal them for "shtf" or camping trips. these are a definite MUST HAVE item for any situation, especially in today's world!! well worth the money ppl!!

Bought these for emergency use only. So I am not able to say if there is any taste added to the water. This is just a great piece of mine. Knowing that if things go extremely sideways, I’m not dependent on handouts for getting drinking water.

I use in my water jug My water dispenser at home I put two of these in I got tired of carrying the big heavy jugs so now I just dropped two of these tablets in there and my regular house water let it sit 30 minutes and then you can drink it purifies the water a little bit I have a tester so it does work Little heavy on the chlorine that gets rid of the hard water keeps the water cooler running good and better tasting
