Well worth the price and effort to fit them.
I used these to connect my Warn winch to my truck. I mounted a portable winch in the bed of my truck and wanted heavy cables that could be disconnected easily and allow me to remove the winch when not needed These plugs are what you need. They are well built and easy to connect to your cables...sort of. I used 2 ga copper strand jumper cables which were just a little large for the metal part that slides into the plastic connector. After a few strands were removed, the cables were soldered and everything went together easily. These plugs are very convenient with high amp rating. Check the amp rating on the plugs to be sure they can handle the load and match the wires.

Great connector save your time and money and just buy it.
Nice product. The quality is very robust. I hate thieves so I wanted a way to disconnect my portable winch quickly for safe storing. This allows me to not only do it in seconds but the ability to move my winch to other vehicles via 2" receiver and jumper cables with a matching connector. I searched my local NAPA, Auto Zone, Marine stores, electrical stores and box stores for this item. One store had them and for the same kit I got here for less than $20 they wanted $59. Save your time just buy it.

its great!!!
works great and was just what I was looking for. I installed it in my car as a quick disconnect for my power inverter. that way when i wasnt using the inverter I could just unplug and take it out. i put a bigger power inverter in my car. 800w. so i have to wire it straight to the battery. i like these even better because when i disconnect it i can then use the cap and cover the end that is still in the car. that way no little curious fingers, forks, or over objects find there way in the end from my little 3 year old. it was a fairly easy install and even easier to use. i soldiered my wires in as i did not have a crimper tool.

Well built quick connect kit
Quick disconnect at a great price.I connected 4 AWG wire, not sure how you could properly connect 2 AWG. I used a crimper and the connection is very solid. The aluminum posts do make a very good connection - very tight and solid. I base my amperage usage on the wire used - so taking 4 AWG I am sure these will preform to my needs.I purchased 2 sets, so I could have one in the rear for my air compressor and one in the front for my jumper cables.Again, the connection is very solid. The build quality seems sound. I like the rubber caps - not sure if I'll use them but they do fit well.

Excellent product.
These are fantastic. Used to create 1/0 jumper cables and a quick disconnect winch lead. It will not fit 1/0 and requires alot of trimming with the supplied lugs. Other than that theyre great and i now have bought over 5 sets!

It's a nice sturdy high quality connector that works great
I used this connector with 4 AWG wire to connect a winch on my car trailer to run off of my truck's battery. You may need a special crimping tool to crimp the lugs it comes with but my brother is an electrician so I'm lucky that I could just borrow one. It's a nice sturdy high quality connector that works great. If I get a new truck I won't hesitate to buy it again.

Quality Product.
I purchased three sets of these for several projects. I used one set to replace a worn out set installed on my truck for my 8000 pound Warn winch. They are a direct replacement for the original Warn plugs that came with the winch. I used a second set to install a outlet at the rear of my truck using welding cable. The third set was installed on my utility trailer for a 2000 pound winch and to modify a set of jumper cables. The lugs were easy to install utilizing solder plugs and are shipped with nice rubber covers. They appear to equal to and are rated for the same amp draw as the Warn connectors.

#2 copper is good for about 95 amperes on a constant load
Please be aware that if you use #4 or #2 copper wire in these connectors that you can not run 350 amperes thru the wireing constantly. #2 copper is good for about 95 amperes on a constant load. You may get a lot more amperes thru the #2 copper for a short period of time, as in cranking an automotive engine, but then you need to allow the wires to cool down for a while, or you will melt the insulation off the wires and eventually melt the copper wire. If you run over the rated amperes of the conductor that you choose to use, you also run the risk of melting your solder joint. It is best to crimp the connectors with a proper tool. Some tool rental places carry the proper crimper. Rusty
