Compact but powerful two-cylinder compressor for car, van, 4wd
Cast metal and hard plastic casing makes this a very sturdy unit, and a bit heavier than it looks. It's also more compact than pictures suggest and fits snugly along with all accessories and coiled air-hose into a neat 9-10l decent quality carry-bag. The unit has a fixed LED display plus a built-in LED torch which has its own separate on/off switch. Supplied also are some adaptors for football and leisure inflatables, and a spare in-line spade fuse, but no adaptor for Presta bike valves, (although such an adaptor would be a cheap and easy-to-acquire purchase if required). Power cable is flat-figure-8 with an in-line fuse and is sufficiently long to reach from under-bonnet +ve and -ve battery terminals to kerb-side where it is likely to be sited. Coiled extending air-hose is substantial with good quality spring-loaded feel, and which will stretch plenty 'nuff to go round to the rear of the car without re-siting the unit or putting unnecessarily stretch on the power cables. NB this inflator's electric motor has a higher current-draw than most single-cylinder compact tyre compressors, so it must be used on a high-amperage circuit or directly to battery terminals - using it with a cigar-socket or accessory terminals will probably blow fuses lower than 30A and/or cause the car's wiring to overheat. When switched on, first impression is how the two cylinders balanced operation and rubber feet isolation creates less noise than expected: it whirs rather than clatters, making it rather more neighbour-friendly than many other inflators at this price-point. In operation the unit can inflate a modest 225x65xR17 flat tyre to 2.5 Bar in around a minute and topping-up from 28psi to 36 psi in around 6 or 7 seconds, making this one of the fastest non-hgv compressors I have used. Because of the fast flow-rate, I have never had to make the unit work hard or stay on for an extended period, which would involve pausing operation to allow cooling down as is recommended. The red LED digital readout is clear, and has three operating buttons to set and control auto-shut off. I found the shut-off to be accurate when checking with another gauge, however the subsequent displayed pressure is slightly lower than actual, making you think it still has a little way to go. Armed with this information I have found no need to repeat operation as it will then over-pressure until the sensor is reset: this is my sole quibble with the product (if I could drop half a star..), and by no means a deal-breaker. Great quality product at the price, and a must-have for your car or van's weekly checks or for emergencies, or for those who want an fast and efficient inflator, but don't need a professional capacity compressor for power-tools or professional use in garage or workshop. Edit as follow up to original review: - three years on this thing is still going and just as powerful as when purchased. I lost one of the rubber feet which came off and I couldn't find it in the dark so got another one which looks diffent but fits, (should have used the LED torch, shouldn't I?) I went through a period of a few weeks when due to road debris I had a couple of slow punctures which necessitated topping up every day until I bit the bullet for new tyres. Pressed into daily use it never failed, never overheated and the hoses and seals are intact and doing their job. I found that the screw-on valve fitment as supplied was fine but a bit foutery for cold fingers in the winter and necessitated taking gloves off so I bought a short hose extension with quick-release lever for Schrader valves (£7), screwed it on and just left it in place on the airhose where it can be attached and removed from the tyre valve in seconds without stripping the hose threads, (as can happen when impatience to get on the road is a factor). Problem solved and makes this a more user-friendly compressor, especially with winter mitts on.

Very Good
Brilliant piece of equipment for the money. Quiet, easy to use and quick, I can't believe I went through 3 rechargable battery powered options, before I tried this, it would have saved me a lot of money. A little heavy, but well packaged and well made.

powerful pump
very happy with this pump. bought because my previous one wasn't up to motorhome tyres at 80psi . this one did the job without seeming stressed at all. It requires 20 amps / 250 watts and needs to be directly connected to a battery, or at the very least a feed capable of delivering that power level. the cable has an inline fuse (standard blade type) of 30 amps. Its digital gauge is reasonably accurate, +1 psi or so compared to tyrepal, I haven't checked it against any other gauges yet. feels nice and strongly built without being too heavy and I'm trusting that amazon basics branding means the quality control is reasonable compared to the lottery of unbranded / "random generator made up brand name" stuff. power cord and air cord are both a good length. had no problem doing all 4 tyres on a 7m motorhome, taking power from leisure battery under passenger seat. deducting one star because when it reaches target pressure it doesn't switch the compressor motor off - it keeps pumping, just not into the tyre. so you can't tell by the noise that its reached target, which is slightly annoying if you've gone off to do something else. Most other pumps shut off when target is reached. But on the other hand its quick and powerful enough you can just sit and watch it. and also because the hose to pump connector is a type I've seen before so hoping it never breaks.

Excellent...the one to get!
Excellent purchase. All gathered together in a nice bag. Feels very heavy duty compared to others and the twin compressors sound effortlessly unstressed. As others have noted more a hum than a whirr. The only criticism is that you have to screw the hose onto the tyre valve which in the dark and wet which usually happens when you have to change a wheel causes unnecessary stress and increases task time. Easily resolved by purchase of push and lock tyre adaptor (about £2). Buy with confidence. Recommended.

gets the job done in a short relyable time with a clear display
Nice and powerfull not the lightest or most compact. but id you are buying this, you are not looking for a light weight option that gives up after the second tyre. no cig conection for a reason draws a high load of current which would likly blow your cars fuse if adapted to use a std 120w cig lighter.

It just didn't last.....
This product was excellent while it worked powerful and easy to use. But after 3/4 weeks it just stopped working, at most I was using it once every 2/3 days to inflate to 110psi running for no longer than 10mins; following the instructions and well within its capability, but it just stopped working after 3/4 weeks. Amazon provided a full refund.

Good buy.
Well made and easy to use. Quicker than the airline at the petrol station. Recommended buy.

Cute little pump
Runs smooth, rubberised connector on the air hose is a nice touch as are the rubberised power wires. Flexible air hose is not long enough for my application. Need to stretch it quite a bit which puts strain on the electrical wires and pulls the clamps off the battery. This is why I have docked a star. Carry bag is cheaply made but what can you expect for the price. Pressure reading is a little out but it takes nothing to adjust for the correct tyre pressure. Some complain about the accuracy but forget that this pressure reading is measured at the pump where it has to push the air through the hose, past the valve and into the tyre. This creates extra pressure on the pump side and most pumps read high because of this. All in all a good product, how well it lasts will be another thing but to me the signs aren’t bad as it is well balanced.

Fast, powerful, low noise, and easy to use.. It shuts off about 3 min. after meetng the set pressure. GOOD COMPRESSOR.
I received the compressor today and checked it out. The compressor is factory set to compress to 45 PSI. It doesn't shut off, but must have a bypass valve, because it continues to run, but doesn't increase pressure above the set point. You can change the set point so you don't go overpressure. The Good: The coiled air hose is high quality and works well. It would reach from the front to back wheels without moving the compressor. I like the screw on the connector for tire valve stems. The battery connection clamps are heavy gauge connectors. The duel compressors move a lot of air, I increased tire pressure on an off-road tire from 30 to 45 lbs, in about 2 minutes. That's significantly faster than other compressors I've owned. It's much quieter than my previous battery operated compressors also. After airing the tires, I disconnected the fill line from the tire, and let the compressor run about a minute to cool any internals. I stored back in the bag with air hose connected on one side, and power cord on the other. The bad: There is no cigarette lighter adapter to connect to the car. That would keep from having to connect to the battery under the hood. I prefer to connect to the battery under the hood and with the car running to provide the best volts and amps to the compressor. Others may want to keep there hands clean. It does shut off after about 3 minutes at set pressure. The screw on tire connector was a hassle with the last tires I used it on.and didn't thread well. I pumped tires up from 28 to 38 PSI is about 2 minutes each. Really quick.

Pratique et bonne qualité
Semble robuste et de bonne qualité, il est pratique de pouvoir encoder la valeur souhaitée et qu'il s'arrête automatiquement. Gonfle un pneu de 4x4 plutôt rapidement.

Best one I had yet. Super fast and relatively quiet operation.
Just received it and tried it out, so I can't comment on longevity. This pump inflated my tire from 0.8 bar to 3.1 bar in about 55 seconds which is even faster than the pump at the gas-station. With my previous pump it would take 7 minutes. And it operated much quieter than a regular one cylinder pump, which is logical, but it's really quiet. It doesn't have this annoying high pitched metal on metal sound as if something could break, but instead it has a relaxed low hum. The operation is super easy. If you shortly press the button, you can switch between PSI and BAR. If you press and hold, the digits start blinking and you can set the preferred pressure. Standard it's on 3.1 BAR which is exactly right for my tires. Nice coincidence. It even has a light torch on it that I haven't tried out yet. The build quality is pretty good. It feels very sturdy. Time will tell. It comes with a nice bag that fits the pump and all the accessories, which is nice because I always lose those. So far, very happy with it.

First was DOA second one worked
I ordered this because it had the best price for the specs. First one came and it was Dead on arrival. It was super easy to spend back and I got my money. Did another search and ended up ordering the same one again. Did a quick test and everything seems to work and it was super fast to pump up my tires on my Truck. Will update as i use it more.
