Stormsure Flexible Repair Adhesive 3 5g Tubes

I bought this product, 3 Stormsure 5g tubes, to repair some rubber hunting boots that developed some cracks where they flex. Boots have been used for 3 deer seasons and two turkey seasons and many miles of hiking. The places that cracked would prevent a patch from doing it's job. I know this because I tried two other products without success. Stormsure seemed like the last resort or I would have to buy new boots. Well I applied to the interior of the crack first and then to the outside and top of crack and held closed for a few minutes while watching a tv show. When I released it held so I let it dry overnight and in the morning it still felt a bit tacky, even soft so I let dry for another 24 hours before testing. Of the 3 spots on each boot I repaired it waterproofed and held together very well. I have since hunted with them and walked though a few deep streams and found another spot on each boot I need to treat. The repairs are obvious and shiny so after boots are fully repaired I will probably paint over to camouflage the repair and dull the reflections. When opening the tube you use the cap to puncture the seal on the tube. Do not squeeze the tube while doing this or you will have a lot come out all at once. I did use my fingers to smooth it into the areas it needed to go and it does stick to your fingers however it removes somewhat easily before it cures if you just rub your fingers together and use some soap. Once it cures I don't think it will remove quite so easily. One thing of concern was I bought the three small tubes so I could give one to a friend, use one and keep one as a reserve while hunting. The one I used was about half empty and I then placed the cap back on. When I reopened it the top half was cured and I had to cut open the tube to get the remaining product out for use. Was a messy endeavor but worth it not to throw away half used tube. Perhaps I had a bad seal on the cap but I would think twice before buying the larger tube and loosing some each time I use it. I think the smaller tubes are the way to go unless you are repairing a large quantity of items all at once. I would recommend this product to anyone and will buy again.

Repaired my paddleboard, holds the pressure. Repaired tear in sup bag, seam torn around handle.. after fix, it's stronger than when it was new... This stuff is awesome. Suggest always buy small tubs though.. I previously purchased large tube qnd the opening dried out too quickly, I could still cut into the tube and use it, but very messy

I used this for part of a repair on my cloth convertible top. It did a good job holding the material in place for most of the repair, but some of the cloth material on the top worked itself loose after just a couple days. I was not expecting this stuff to work miracles, but I wanted to try a repair of the top since the alternative was to replace the entire convertible top for $1600. My top is a tan color, and I did notice some discoloration on the top near where the adhesive was applied. If the top was black, I do not thing the discoloration would be much of an issue. Overall, I am still satisfied with this product and plan to use it for a tent repair.

A lot of things say they will fix rubber boots (Wellies) but I never had luck. The stuff would always crack or come loose because the boots break in an area that gets a lot of flexing. Stormsure has kept a crack sealed for several months now. I washed the area with soap and water and sanded it lightly with sand paper. I positioned the damaged area level so the glue would not run. I put the Stormsure in the crack and on the outside over the crack and waited 24 hours. I did not clamp it. It dries clear so you will hardly see the bead of dried glue. To make the glue last until you need it again, squeeze it until it is near the opening then cap it so no air is in the tube. You can store it in the freezer to make it last longer, too.

The rear plastic window on my 1989 Celica convertible was separating from the canvas top. Stormsure bonded to both the canvas and the plastic window, sealing the gap. It's been three weeks, and the repair has held up perfectly. This stuff saved me the $2K cost of replacing a perfectly good convertible top - cheers to the inventor!

my fault- should have read closer - each tube is like those little super glue tubes -- about a level teaspoon (approx 1/6th of an oz.) at 16.00$ REALLY --- stuff seems to work but there is so little - not a single repair could be completer - in fact it would take two more packages to complete repairs -- found another brand with acceptable price --- this was my fault for not researching a little deeper - -- or they could put enough in single tube --- this is one of the poorest purchases i have made on amazon

Had a tear in a boot behind the toe box. It was easy to follow the instructions but the seal only lasted a couple weeks.

Great flexible adhesive that really works. Tip, keep glue in a freezer once opened and it stays fresh for months.

Works well for crocs which is why I bought it. Would be better in smaller sachets or something as after one use the product goes off in the tube as it's been exposed to air.

Absolutely amazing stuff. Have repaired several welly tears with it and it works a treat!

Bought it because we had a small hole in our 10ft paddling pool and it fixed it well alongside another hole I found(need to check for more). Also fixed a new piece of velcro to a glove and it's solid. Store the glue in the freezer once opened and I waited a few minutes after taken it out before using it again. Just a pity you didn't get more or bigger tubes for the price.
