It's CHEAPER to buy all 4 books together in this box set. Each book is a relatively short rhyming story with great pictures of Thomas and his friends. Lots of peep peeps and lots of opportunities to add extra sounds like moo and chugga chugga. My 2 year old who loves Thomas and his friends adores these books. They are more than one or two lines per page but not so much more that he loses interest. All four books are perfect for a toddler. The box is really great for storing the books in and caring them along for outings. It also looks cute and is fun for my son to open and close and put away and take out the books. The box has a little Velcro tab to keep it closed. We have had this set for a couple of months now and so far the books and the box have held up excellently and my son tends to get over excited about books and rip them...even the board books. Very pleased and would recommend purchasing them.

We have had these books for over two years now. Our original set was given to us for our child's first birthday, and they have been read so much they are falling apart. They include subtle learning themes - colors, concepts like stop and go, etc. - and they are very engaging for little ones. Classic Thomas stories, you can't go wrong!! This set was a gift for my nephew, and he has loved them as much as our kids!

My three-year-old son loves Thomas and Friends and he didn't have many Thomas books so I wanted to get him some for his birthday. This box set was one of the first search results that came up and it seemed like a good price for four books so I ordered it. We've now read all four books and so far, my son really likes this set! Even his twin sister is interested in the books. The four books included in this set are: Go, Train, Go! A Crack in the Track Blue Train, Green Train Stop, Train, Stop! These board books are on the smaller side and each measures 4 1/4 inches by 5 3/4 inches. They are all part of the "Bright and Early Board Books" collection like many of the Dr. Seuss books. These books are written to sound like Dr. Seuss books as well in that there is a lot of rhyming which I think makes them really fun to read. The stories are fairly basic and talk about what Thomas and his friends do throughout the day. My kids were mostly interested in Blue Train, Green Train and A Crack in the Track but they still enjoy the other two books as well. This set of Thomas books is great for young children and I wish I would've known about these books when my kids were infants because they are simple, yet fun stories that kids will enjoy. They are the perfect size for small hands and have lots of colorful pictures kids can look at. This set comes in a nice cardboard case with velcro to close it and a handle to carry it so they are easy to transport. I feel the price we paid was very reasonable for this set and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good set of Thomas books for a young child!

Cute little Thomas the train board book set with a nice little carrying case for the toddler to take on the run and take his favorite tank with him. Lots of fun and these little books.

My little guy is obsessed with Thomas and Friends. We got this set when he was about 14months old, after we borrowed "Stop! Train! Stop!" from the library, and he couldn't get enough of it. It comes with 4 board books, "A Crack in the Track", "Stop! Train! Stop!", "Go! Train! Go!", and "Blue Train, Green Train". These are the abbreviated versions of the picture books of the same names. At first I was worried that they wouldn't be as good, but I found that they work better for his attention span, and, in some cases, like "Blue Train, Green Train" had better rhythm and clearer parallels in the wording. There is some rhyming, but not in all the books, the stories do have a nice rhythm (though sometimes certain phrases are repeated too quickly and feel a little lazy). Not high literature, but still nice little books. I will say, however, that this set's print edition seems to be of a slighter lower quality than the older board book from the library. The pictures are slightly blurrier, but are still clear enough. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't had the library's copy right next to it. Our little guy loves this set. He likes to bring us the books, then run and grab the trains corresponding to that story. He'll point out the different trains and objects, wave when the characters wave, moo when the cows moo, and show us his toy Thomas or Percy during "Blue Train, Green Train". The box itself held up fairly well for a while (sturdy cardboard with strong Velcro closure and plastic strap handle), but has become a bit beat up over the past couple months. Our toddler likes to stick his trains in it and carry them around before dumping them out again. The velcro is so strong that he needs to use a lot of force to open it... Which often results in it flipping itself shut again. This can be funny to watch, until he starts getting frustrated, then it's a little sad.. But still a little funny. Overall a great set, especially for the price.

These Thomas the Tank Engine stories are a great way to satisfy our grandson’s interest in trains and trucks. He likes the repetition and rhyming. Books are read to him several times when he selects them for story time.

My granddaughter loved the books.She made her mom read them a number of times for the first few days...

My husband and I have read these books countless times because our son lovesss reading about Thomas. Personally, I don't find the stories very exciting but it's good that my son likes it.
