Incredible Kit!!
Very detailed N sawmill kit. Walters makes great kits. Having grown uparound sawmill operations, this kit is very realistic. Keep in mind that thesekits have small pieces so it requires patience to put together but the outcome isworth it.

Nice FINISHED product ..... But,
Excellent looking product. I deducted one star because the instructions were very, very bad almost not there. Not even pictures of all sides to go by. You have to put it together with the process of elimination. Some pieces must be glued before other pieces and there is no way to tell which goes first. BUT ... the end product is a very good looking building.

Great model saw mill but not N scale
Received this model kit as a present for our N scale rail diorama and was excited to see it as a prominent feature on the 3 ft x 4 1/2 ft. layout. Unfortunately when I tried it out it looked completely out of scale with everything else. The sawdust burner was the scale. equivalent of 58 ft high. More like HO scale. Disappointed because the quality of the kit was very good and complete.

An accurate glimpse of the past
I worked in a sawmill quite similar to this one and am well pleased with the attention to detail and accurately fabricated elements. It is going to be a center piece of my board.

This particular one just seems a bit large for N Scale
Compared to the other parts of my N Scale layout this particular building just seems huge and out of place.
