What size dog does the large start at? 30lbs?

Hi there and thank you for your message. Both King Kombs can be used for any size dog as they are the same just different in size. We have used the mini for our office Great Dane (big boy!) and have used the Yellow larger one for small pets. It's really up to you and if your dog is smaller then the Mini may be the best for you.
