MEDITIVE Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, Dual Color OLED Display Blood Oxygen Monitor with Alarm Feature with Perfusion Index - PI Index and Respiratory Rate (Black Color)

SHORT SUMMARY: After researching several popular brands on Amazon and the web, I settled on this model (Model MPO-03 - Black colour). My family and I have been using this Pulse Oximeter for close to a month and the readings have been consistent for that duration. Build quality is decent but hinges feel delicate. Detailed review is as follows: PACKAGE CONTENTS: The package contains - the device, 2 AAA 1.5V Batteries, User Manual with instructions, 1-year Warranty Card and Lanyard cable. The device looks and works exactly as shown in the product description and image section of this Amazon page/reviews. BUILD, DISPLAY & SETTINGS: Regarding its build, the hinges on the end feel a tad too delicate. Assuming you use the device with care (just like your favourite electronic device/cell phone), the build feels decent. The OLED display is sharp and clear even at lowest brightness. A lone button adjacent to the Display rotates the readings by 90° on each short press. Long pressing the button shows the Settings menu that allows adjusting device parameters like: ✅ Brightness - Level 1 (darkest) to 5 (brightest). ✅ Beep - A short beep to indicate reading has been generated. Can be toggled On/Off. ✅ Setting Threshold values (Low and High) for measured indicators - SPO2, Pulse Rate (PR), Respiratory Rate (RR), Perfusion Index (PI). ✅ Alarm sounds can be toggled On/Off - If On, then Alarm is sounded if the measured value crosses / falls below the user-defined threshold value. By default, it is Off. USAGE FEEDBACK: The readings seem to be relatively accurate. While I haven't confirmed the SPO2 readings against a professional, medical wall mount Pulse Oximeter, the readings showed stable values, when at rest. Also, when tested immediately after a moderate workout session, the device showed slightly different values (as expected) - such as slightly higher SPO2 levels, moderately elevated Pulse Rate (PR - bpm) & Respiration Rate (RR). I remove the batteries after use; they've lasted fine for my usage as of now. Minor consumer tips from usage under a variety of scenarios: ✅ Keep finger (preferably index/ring finger) steady on a flat surface during measurement. Moving/exercising while measuring will produce variability and inaccuracy in the readings. ✅ Insert the finger all the way into the oximeter before pressing the button adjacent to the display. You'll know you've done this correctly once you start seeing standard, rhythmic pulse graph animation (Plethysmogram waveform bar/graph) on the Oximeter display consistently. The readings start appearing within 5 seconds from finger insertion but take about 10-30 seconds to stabilize and show final readings. DELIVERY EXPERIENCE: Delivery was prompt (as per scheduled date), packaging was perfectly done and there was no damage visible on the product.

The reading is perfect. The features are excellent as it gives the ideas of 'Resperatory Rate (RR),' 'Pulse Rate (PR)' alongwith 'SP02 (Oxygen level).' At this price, it is an excellent buy and a must have gadget for every household. The display and features are customisable and can be easily set. Moreover, it's an Indian product, made by an Indian manufacturing company.

Excellent Product

This is an amazing little gadget. I bought it in 2020 after reading several reviews on Amazon. I definitely found it a bit high-priced but it is my habit to buy the best that I can afford. It has worked superbly. Last week my son wanted to buy an oxymeter and he ordered it from the local chemist for around 1000 bucks. It was only when I started using it that I realised the rubbish he had picked up. Oxygen levels varying from 62 to 99! Almost 2 minutes to give a reading! Trashy build qualty. FORGET EVERYTHING ELSE! Just go with Meditive with your eyes closed. It is super-accurate, you can tell the build quality by the way it grips your finger and the display is just superb...bright, sharp and colour coded. You will know what I am talking about when you use it for the first time. Definitely worth the extra bucks. That cheap ones could send anyone to hospital with disastrous consequences.

Nice product..! Respiratory rate , an additional feature ! Built ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliability ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price ⭐⭐⭐ Delivery ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ To test reliability, hold your hand up for 2-3 minutes with the oximeter put on a finger and watch how SpO2 starts to descend, an expected phenomenon! Rubber band test passed.It couldn't show any reading when a tight rubber band fold was in place I didn't test it with pen and pencils. But other reviews show the device passed them as well Although not tested in a clinical facility , seems reliable.A star was deducted as the manufacturer didn't provide the definition(the degree of variability) for SpO2 range 35%-69%. Also, a carry pouch was expected at this price range (INR 2190), otherwise a good product. Don't know much about the popular blue and white oximeter being sold as a make in india product. Saw it only once during a govt testing drive and the machine didn't work.Hence avoided that product despite the fact that it was being sold at a half price than this.

Reasons why I like this product ? 1. Unlike other cheap "made in china" oximeters, this one is a MADE IN INDIA Pulse oximeter and I'M VERY PROUD TO BE USING IT. 2. Not only this is a MADE IN INDIA product, the quality of this product is EXCELLENT (both externally as well as internally). 3. It's very useful and it justifies the purpose for which it's been created. The readings are precise and accurate. 4. Easy to use just by the press of one button. 5. Batteries are already provided along with the package, so no need to purchase a new set for using it for first time. 6. It's truly a PREMIUM product to use & it's decently priced as per its performance and quality. 8. Customer Support is excellent and they're really helpful. 9. It comes with a 1 year warranty as well. Overall, if you're looking for a good Premium quality pulse oximeter then just go for it. BE SWADESHI & boycott Chinese brands.
