No broken candies. Seemed fresh and texture was exactly what I remembered from being a kid. Good value.

Update: granny just called said she was wrong there is “tad” of chewy center but barely” she told me to not order these again tho. Lol These weren’t what I was expecting. I was looking for strawberry “Bon bons” that I typically get for my grandmother. I ordered the ones I typically get but they weren’t available until next week so went to the next one up…. This brand. Sadly thinking that they were in the same area as the ones I typically order and price close enough I ordered them. But they’re just strawberry hard candies. They aren’t the ones with chewy centers hence “bon bons” that she loves. But I KNOW reading the info is critical but typically they're the same just different brand but these were in the middle of the Bon bon sections. Kinda hidden so to speak. Looking back at it this was the ONLY brand that are just hard candies in bon bon section So kinda feels like it was intentional. I’ll be sure to verify next time plus she said they aren’t very good or very flavorful. She said “weak strawberry.” so these are sadly going in the trash along with my money & extra for quick delivery.

This was a whimsical purchase, a memory of a candy I shared as a child with my grandmother that has passed on. I got it, and not one thing changed, it was the same favorite candy I remembered having with her as a child. If new to this, or an old memory, worth the purchase.
