Ohuhu Alcohol Markers 60 Illustration Colors Brush Soft Chisel for Coloring

I’m a big fan of Ohuhu Honolulu markers and own the 320-color set, so I was excited to try the Soft Chisel version. The brush tip is just as fantastic as every other Honolulu marker—smooth, responsive, and a pleasure to color with. The Soft Chisel Tip: Despite the name, I didn’t find it especially soft. It does flex if you press down, but that also forces a lot more ink onto the paper (see my video). Used like a traditional chisel tip, though, it creates a nice variety of line widths and works well. I just didn’t find it to be a significant improvement over a standard chisel. The 60-Color Illustration Set: I completed an entire coloring page using only this set to see how versatile it was. The colors are vibrant and coordinate beautifully overall, but a few things stood out. The blue shades don’t blend particularly well, which was disappointing for skies. The browns lean heavily toward yellow and orange, and I kept wishing for a true taupe. Most of the grays are cool-toned, while I tend to reach for warmer grays. I also missed having a light pastel green for highlighting grass, trees, and plants. Since Ohuhu labels this the “Illustration” set, I suspect it was designed more with drawing in mind than coloring books. Looking back, I think the 48-color set would have been a better fit for the cozy coloring books I enjoy. Overall, these are still high-quality markers with the excellent brush tip Ohuhu is known for. The Soft Chisel tip is nice, but it wasn’t a game changer for my coloring style, and I would choose a different color selection if I were buying again.

Vivid colors, smooth coloring and dry quickly. If you lift marker and color again in the same area they don’t leave a noticeable line which I really like. Value for for money is unbeatable!

I absolutely love Ohuhu's alcohol markers. I bought these along with some other sets to replace my super old bullet tip ones. (I really wanted brush tips). I'm actually quite the fan of the soft chisel. I wish they'd make more of the sets with this instead of the regular chisel. Definitely worth the money. My old ones lasted over 7 years I believe and were still going! (I passed them onto another.) So imo quality is wonderful, and they are incredibly durable.

Come on now, Ohuhu is the best, we all know that! The colors are really pretty and I love that it comes with the swatch card so you know you’re using the right color! I’ve had it for a good while now and they haven’t dried out so far at all! Definitely hold up! The bleed through so USE the backing page protector!!! (But it’s definitely worth it) I got these when they were on sale so it was a great price for the famous ohuhu markers! 🤍

Great markers, especially for the price point. Are the Copic or other high end professional grade tools? No, but they're darn close, especially now that you can refill them and they're a phenomenal deal. The difference in available colors is virtually a non-issue with the blending capability. The soft chisel is great for controlling line weight, while still being plenty flexible and broad to fill in large areas without requiring more time. Hopefully more of the color range becomes available with these tips. The ink dries fast enough to allow you to layer colors without impacting marker performance at all, and the brush is stiff enough to allow for lettering.

Highly recommend they are the best I use them for bullet journaling, great Quality definitely worth your money and yes, I love the colors

Ohuhu markers are the second best after the very expensive Copic markers. Ohuhu created a a wonderful array of colors and their performance is pretty good. Great value for money.

Love, love the soft chisel nib. Usually I don't use the chisel end in the markers just the brush tip but these are fun to color with. Hope Ohuhu brings out a bigger set with these soft chisel nibs. Will definitely buy these again!

These are fantastic quality alcohol markers. Love the colour range and the swatch sheet that it comes with.

Ideal for your mid level artist, both the brush and the soft chisel are fantastic, they are sleek designs, versatile depending on your paper, often bleed resistant (again depending on your paper.) durable and perfect for colouring but for someone who doesn’t want to invest thousands into other brands. Ink is quick drying and quality.
