Comprehensive review
For people who don’t have time to read my complete review, here’s a brief review. Bought for: ₹5808 Pros: 1. Automatic Japanese Seiko movement 2. Amazing build quality 3. 200m water resistant 4. Display back 5. Screw down crown 6. Rotating outer diver bezel 7. Manual wind and hacking functions 8. Looks like a Rolex Submariner Cons: 1. Looks a lot like a Rolex Submariner 2. A bit tall on the wrist 3. Servicing is tough in India for Invicta watches if something goes wrong 4. A Little heavy on the bracelet 5. Loom is very weak on the markers. Some people have complain about quality issues like misaligned markers or bezel, hands fell off etc. At the time of posting this review it’s been almost a month of daily use and I’m lucky to not have any issues in my piece. Verdict: It’s an absolute value for money (at least for what I’ve paid) and you can definitely go for it if you like the design. Loooong Review: To be honest I’m a huge horological nerd and I absolutely love watches. I follow almost all watch communities on the internet and I have quite a decent collection of watches myself including Gshock, Seiko, Timex, automatic, manual wind and quartz movements etc. I always wanted to have an automatic diver in my collection and my first choice was a Seiko SKX which is a legendary diver watch. But when I searched I couldn’t find SKX on any website or retail stores in India. (Though later I found that Amazon is selling it in India but for an absurd price of more than 30k where as you could buy it in US for somewhere around 200 dollars) So I had no choice but to find an alternative and I came across Orient Ray and Mako line of watches which are absolutely gorgeous and original in design but they cost around 14k - 17k on Amazon India. Meanwhile I had my eyes on this Invicta Prodiver 8926OB even though a lot of people in watch community dislike Invicta as a company, but like this particular watch model. So when I checked, the prices were fluctuating between 7k to 9k and I was not willing to pay that money for an Invicta, but recently the prices dropped to around 5800 bucks and I jumped on it. Honestly, there are no regrets since. The dimensions are, 40mm dia bezel excluding crown, the lug width is 20mm. It wears marvellously on smaller wrist like mine even though it wears a little bit taller on the wrist. It has a 120 click rotating bezel and the action on the bezel is very solid and easy to rotate thanks to coinage on the bezel. There are applied markers and applied winged Invicta logo which looks really good and the hands are very Rolex inspired Mercedes hands, both have loom but the loom on the markers are very dim when compared to loom on the hands. There is a loom pip on the bezel at 12 o’clock position that helps in orientation of the watch in the dark. The watch has a mixture of brushed and mirror finishes that is done impeccably well and it gives a beautiful lustre to the watch especially on that aluminium insert of the bezel and glossy black dial of the watch. There is a cyclops on the mineral glass exactly above the date window that magnifies it for improved legibility. Some people don’t like the cyclops but personally, I don’t mind it. The crown is a screw down crown with crown guards. I’m really impressed with the crown on this watch. It has a perfect size to screw, unscrew or wind the watch with ease, and it is signed with Invicta cross that aligns perfectly when completely screwed in. Another impressive thing in this watch is the display back, it shows the automatic movement in all its glory. Speaking of the movement, it is the best part in this watch. It is a Japanese caliber NH35A movement, basically it is an unbranded version of Seiko movement caliber 4R35 which can be found in sub 30,000₹ Seiko watches. It is most popular automatic movement in micro brands too. This movement is automatic of course(for those who don’t know it doesn’t require a battery and works on your movements) but it has hacking(seconds hand stops when crown is pulled out) and manual wind functions as well. According to the official site it has an accuracy of -20 to +20 seconds per day but I’m happy to report it is given me an impressive +7 seconds per day. The bracelet which it comes on is completely solid with brushed and mirror finishes. End links are hollow but it is expected in this price range. I must say it looks really good on the bracelet but you can most definitely order some nato straps (preferably on AliExpress 😬 sorry amazon, you lack collection in this regard) and dress it down a bit. And because of the Rolex aesthetics, this watch is a strap monster. It looks freakin amazing with any strap you put it on. I must say, I’ve washed clothes wearing it, I’ve been to weddings with it, I’ve been on a bike ride with it, I went swimming with it, you name it. I’ve even dropped it once accidentally but it did not stop ticking. I’ve tried to take and post as many pictures as I can for you to decide but I gotta say it’s one of the best wrist watches at the price range. Absolutely go for it if you like the design and if it suits your budget. At the end of the day if something brings you joy and happiness, it’s worth it. Regards, MS

Awesome watch to buy
The watch is definitely worth the buy. One should consider this while buying an automatic watch on a budget. Looks nice and elegant. Build quality also seems quite good since it is a little heavy. 40mm fits perfectly for me but they have bigger dials as well. Will have to use it for few months to update about the durability and comfort.

A very Premium and luxurious watch
I love this watch a lot and don’t regret buying it at all, and it goes with almost all my outfits easily. It’s a great watch to start a collection. Pros: For the price it’s a very luxurious looking watch , looks like a Rolex (homage watch ) conversation starter Has Seiko automatic movement - very reliable and standard mechanism 200m (20BAR) water resistance, u can dive with this watch easily Strong and premium materials like Stainless steel and flamefusion crystal (almost equivalent to sapphire) Great reserve and winding Rotating bezel (tachymeter) Clear back, the mechanism is visible (looks cool) Cons: Very Dim Lume ( the glow-in-the-night hands of the clock are quite dim and don’t stay glowing for long)(to many this doesn’t even matter) As it’s a clear back watch I was hoping to get the watch with yellow gyro plate having Seiko branding in it but I got the silver plate. I’m just unlucky I guess.

Must buy in this price and category
One of the best Divers watch with Seiko NH35 Movement, and scredown crown and second hand hacking at this cost is quite reasonable. Loved the feel of the watch. Though I was bit disappointed as did not get the Yellow movement rotar version. But overall a very good deal for a diver watch.

Best value for money
I bought Invicta Pro-Diver watch in the month of Dec 2020. I am a fan of mechanical watches. Before buying this I did some research on the YouTube and compared other options as well and thought Invicta Pro-Diver would be the watch of my choice. The positive points work in it's favor are the watch resembles popular Rolex Submariner model, looks and feels very nice & sturdy, contains reliable work horse movement - Seiko NH35A, gives 200m water resistance and all that at very attractive price point. It is hard to resist. I am wearing it every day and I am fully satisfied with it's quality and it's reserve power. The only negative I could imagine is it's lum which is tad dim. It bezel could have been a ceramic one and the top glass a sapphire; but expecting that at this low price point is asking too much.

A PERFECT FIRST AUTOMATIC/DIVER/HOMAGE WATCH.
This is a very good buy for the value it comes in. If you look around you'll hear all the pros and cons about this watch but by my personal experience, the cons seem to vanish off if you're really in it for the experience and not just for the sake of wearing a good looking watch. It looks great, does has some minor quality control issues like in the chain strap but mine is so far, perfect. Really pleased with the accuracy, is around 15second mark as it says. Overall a great buy. And NOTE: DONT THINK YOURE BUY A CHEAPER ROLEX, BECAUSE ITS NOT A ROLEX. ITS AN INVICTA AND IT HAS A CHARACTER OF ITS OWN. Have developed a liking for the brand and the NH35A movement, will surely explore more invictas in the future. To conclude, a great first automatic diver watch under 10k INR. A must for any watch enthusiast.

I bought this watch to be my work watch. My beater watch. Able to take the beating and scratches of everyday use. I baby my expensive watches so this one is my daily. To be honest, im impressed. It looks nice. Better than i expected for the money. I got it for less than $100 so the price was perfect. Being self wind is just a bonus. No battery to replace every 2 years. I took out one link and its still slightly loose for my wrist. Perfect. I hate leather bands that are constricting. I like a watch to move a bit. Looks great. Not too heavy. Self winding. Great watch. If you didnt know, you would think this is a watch 3-4 times the price.

Very impressed. On Amazon Sweden the title is for the quartz version but the description is for the automatic. I wanted the automatic so took a bet and it was indeed the 8926OB version (automatic). I watched a lot of reviews on youtube before deciding and was worried about some of the negativity about the engraving on the case, the overkill of the dial and second hand design. Size and strap are also criticized but the quality of the strap and feel of the watch on my 6.7 inch wrist is quite ok. I put it on my timegrapher and the Seiko NH35A movement averages a beat rate error of 0.1ms and runs -10 seconds a day, My limited edition Seiko Gene Kranz arrived with a 3.1 ms beat rate error and -35 seconds a day average and cost 6 times more. Go figure. That was out of the box, I regulated it now. I probably would not go into water too much with it, but putting some silicon grease on the case seal and the winder screw threads would increase my confidence so I might do that. This is an out of the box review, time will tell, but it is a great start. if you want something you can wear in everyday situations and enjoy the experience of an automatic that looks and works ok, I can highly recommend. Especially for the very attractive black friday price.

Received the watch in a smooth top invicta yellow box (not the wave patterned top). The watch is on a cardboard sleeve, not on a watch cushion. Also please note that the rotor says "TMI" and not "SII". The movement is probably from Hong Kong China, factory owned by Seiko. A very nice looking watch. Hope the accuracy doesn't disappoint.

I have been collecting higher end watches for over 30 years, so after an expensive repair I wanted a cheap everyday watch I could wear doing any job, without the worry on damaging it. On doing some research the Casio Duro Marlin Diver 44mm came in very highly rated and the Invicta Pro Diver 40mm also, although with a smaller wrist I chose the smaller Invicta Pro Diver Automatic 40mm, after being persuaded by an in-depth online review by an horologist who highly rated it. I purchased the black/silver version and my first impressions on opening the box were very positive, it is a very nice looking and sturdy watch with a good weight, and once I had the strap adjusted it sat perfectly on my wrist for size and felt very comfortable. As many other reviewers have also noted the watch does at a glance look like a Submariner. The crown works okay although it doesn’t feel as sturdy as my higher end watches, and the hack is good for setting the time accurately. The Seiko automatic movement is pretty accurate and also very quiet. The bracelet is okay, it does the job well and is comfortable but it does rattle slightly. Regarding the ‘Invicta’ engraving, while some really dislike it I do not find it intrusive at all, but agree it would be better not being there. Probably my only gripe is that the lume is very poor and almost non-existent, and this really could be improved even if it means adding another £10 on the price. I have also since originally writing this changed the strap for an Archers Black 20mm NATO strap, which I think makes the watch look even better. Overall I am happy with this watch, it is a good price for an automatic movement, although I haven’t tested it in water yet. Regarding the price, Amazon is competitive but they do move the price up and down, so keep your eye out for Prime days as they often knock 15% off, or more on Black Friday.
