Rukket Rip It Portable Lacrosse Goal | Pop Up Lax Net for Backyard Shooting | Collapsible, Foldable, Travel Goals

My 7 year old son started playing Lacrosse this year and I wanted to get him something useful to practice with at home - passing back and forth with me only goes so far. I looked at numerous options for goals and targets for him, both 6x6 and 4x4, before settling on the Rukket 4x4 pop up Lacrosse Goal. I watched the video's online and it seemed like a great option, although the number of reviews were limited. Received the item promptly (go Prime!) and tried it out a couple of days later. My son and I had it set up in about 5 minutes, super easy to do. Goal is very sturdy, and easily handles both of our shots without any issues. This goal makes practice so much more beneficial, allowing him to practice offense and defense with an actual target to shoot at / defend. When its time to put it away my son is able to fold it down and store it in the bag by himself, this is a MAJOR plus and makes him much more willing to use the goal. Had a small problem with the storage bag, but Rukket resolved it promptly and with no hassle - great customer service, thanks Adam!. All in all its a super product, especially if you have a smaller yard and I highly recommend it.

The goal is light weight, easy to move and is simple to fold down. I would never buy a metal frame constructed goal again. I had a metal goal for jut over a year and it rotted at the joints and fell apart. I will never have to worry about this again with the fiberglass pole construction. This goal is extremely high quality and assembled in minutes. Both my boys play lacrosse and they use this goal every day for practice and it takes a beating. I also love that the netting is integrated into the sleeve that the poles are inserted in, so we never have a loose net or zip ties to hold it in place. I couldn't be happier with my purchase of Rukket Rip It Goal.

Bought this 6x6 and the 4x4 goal for 7th grade boys to use at our vacation home. We needed to be able to transport it in our SUV to a field close to the house. The 6x6 does NOT fold up for transport and was too big to partially disassemble to bring to the field. Too much work. The 4x4 was easy to construct and easily folds for transport. Will be returning the 6x6.

Just arrived today. Easy to set up without instructions(actually didn't see any for set up but there are provided 'fold' up instructions so that you can fit it into the bag). Mainly going to use this on the beach with mini-stick lax games our family likes to have. I wanted something a little bigger that looked like a lax net rather than our popup 'soccer nets' we've been using and something portable. Came across this and it looks like it will do nicely. Fired some shots with a real lacrosse ball and thus far ok. I don't think my high schoolers would use this to shoot on at home as they have a real lacrosse net to shoot on. Only negative is the bag. came with a 4 in rip in the seam at the base of the triangle part(bag is triangular). Bag is thin and seams do seem a little flimsy(I've attached pic). As we'll be leaving for the beach tomorrow, duct tape should do for now. Will post a follow up after our beach trip. If it holds up, will probably end up buying another. addendum 8/9/15 just back from our vacation. Used this every day. Best feature is how it just folds up flat in a triangle shape. I have a 6x6 from a different co but you have to put the parts together. This just pops up in 1 sec. Quite windy on the beach so it would lean to one side. We put sand on the base so it really didn't topple over - again just lean at times. Unfortunately salt water already started to rust the grommets in the base. Received a few good comments about our mini-lax net while playing a 'half-court' game on the beach. Main negative is that it's quite big in the triangle shape. It won't fit in a large cargo carrier we have on top of our van. It will fit upright in the van with the base at the bottom and the triangle point adjusted to one side to not interefere with the rear view. Not sure how the 6x6 folds down but if the same way, not sure how this fits in the back of the van.

Purchased the regulation size 6x6 Rukket Rip It! Lacrosse goal last month and my son has been using it regularly. Everything about the net is top quality and it performs excellent. Chose the Rukket after researching numerous portable Lacrosse nets and comparing reviews. Rukket came out on top across the board. Right out of the box, the net was up and being used in twenty minutes. The Rukket net stands up to abuse and does not buckle under hard shots, even shots hitting the side bars or top cross bar supports. It does not collapse or fall forward, even when I didn't have it staked down. The best thing about the Rukket is ease of takedown and its portability. Easily folds into a neat triangle for storage or moving to new location. My ten year old can do it himself. The quality of the net is very high as well. Only thing I think that is missing could possibly be a storage bag to protect it but I purchased a tarp and some bungee cords to protect from rain when not in use. I highly recommend the Rukket. We had such high hopes for this portable lax net. It arrived neatly packaged and with easy to follow instructions. The goal was assembled quickly with no problems. The goal appeared of good quality and standard 6x6 size. We were very excited to get it to the field and give it a whirl. We quickly learned how to fold the net but also quickly determined it wasn't as small as we had hoped folded up. It was cumbersome and still large (minus one star). It would not fit in my Jeep Wrangler and not in my husband's sedan UNLESS we took it apart. Easy enough, we took out the sides and rolled it up. Transported it to the field and reassembled easily. After about ten shots my daughter noticed the net had pulled away from the outside edge. Soooo disappointed (minus a second star.) She is a very experienced player with powerful shots, but according to the description, the goal should be able to withstand that power even during the first use. I had filled out the lifetime warranty that came with the product prior to use and have reached out to the company to rectify the faulty product. Hoping they follow through and the next net is more durable. If not, the search continues for a more portable durable net. Had the product held up and was slightly smaller once folded it would easily be a five-star product.

I purchased the Rukket Rip It 6x6 lacrosse goal from my 3 sons who love playing lacrosse. The lacrosse goal was extremely easy to set up following the online video. You insert a few fiberglass poles and close a few velcro straps. It took less than 5 minutes for the initial set up. Once it is set up, it is even easier to take down and set up again. With 3 steps, the goal folds flat (in seconds) for easy storage up against a wall. We use the goal every week and it has held up well. You can use stakes or weight the corners down, but we have not had to do that as it has been very stable. It's a good option to have perhaps under very windy conditions. The materials are durable and of high quality. If properly taken care of, I can see this goal lasting for years and years. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This lacrosse goal was easily portable and easy to fold; however, it started to fall apart after 5 months of use. The net first got a hole in the corner of it after my son shot a ball at it. This is not super uncommon so we were not very upset about that, but then the black edging started to rip off all the way around the goal. You can reference the picture, but when the wind blows, you can also see that it has come off around the sides (not pictured). It is disappointing even at this price point.

Fantastic net ,highly recommend

Just as advertised. Original set up took about five minutes. Now it's up and down in 30 seconds. It's not heavy, which is good for portability but needs some weight put on it when playing on a hard surface (it has pegs for grass).
