I dont think its sturdy enough for outdoor use.
This is a great catio! Went together easily but directions were a little confusing. My cat loves it. I have it inside. Not sturdy enough in my opinion to be outside. I wouldnt trust my cat in it outside or predators. But great product overall.

Renter-ish friendly
I live this thing. It took me and husband .... a couple hours to put together. We rent so we can't have things attach to the house and this was the perfect solution. (Minus the screen which would need to be replaced when we moved anyway. I wouldn't say this is the most stable and built to last a lifetime, but it is built to keep indoor cats in an outdoor space even if they get freaked out by a weird noise and go totally nuts. I also moved this around by myself and it didn't break but I didn't move it twice. Cats love it. Can be broken down and moved if needed. We were really cautious about where to cut the mesh just because that isn't something we want to replace or patch. All pieced were numbered or we were able to figure it out. I think the screen being on the inside was the one thing that tripped us up. We do have a gap from the screen to the catio and can't figure how to solve yet, so we have a piece of vent going from window to catio.

Good catio , happy kitty
It’s a great product—probably the best option on the market so far. However, the quality of the wood isn’t the best. The wood is dry and sometimes breaks easily when you put the screws in. Once assembled, it’s a little flimsy, but it holds up pretty well. We’ve had it for eight months now, and our kitties are happy—they use it all the time. It was relatively easy for two people to put together. In the end, we chose to seal the wood with a water-repellent spray. We also placed it on a platform made of wooden pallets covered with a fake grass rug to keep the catio from sitting directly on the bare concrete floor. To give our cats access to the catio, we cut a hole in the window screen and another one in one of the back panels. You might also want to block the gaps between the wall and the catio—even if they seem small—because a smaller cat could slip through. Pool noodles work well for filling those gaps. Overall, it’s a great catio, spacious enough for two to three kitties to hang out comfortably.

This product is good for inside an apartment, but not outside.
Wood is not sturdy for outside weather, wind.

not as solid as expected
I thought that this would be of better quality but unfortunately it is not. It was easy to put together but definitely need two people to do it. It is supposed to be weatherproof but I kind of have my doubts because the finish on it is not of high quality. I will see eventually how well it fairs in the winter as it is on my porch and too heavy to puck up and move.

Very good for the price and easily assembled
Went together easily, a few mistakes in the instructions but overall very pleased. It is made of white pine so I only use a hand ratcheting screwdriver and didn’t split any pieces. Overall very happy with the results. I did use a few C-clamps to square up the pieces while assembling and it helped a lot for a 1 person build. Delivery was a week earlier than expected, so that was a bonus.

Easy build and the cats are obsessed!
My strictly indoors cats, love to watch out the windows. We wanted to give them a safe space to lounge in the sun and be outside. This cathouse took two people about two hours to build. It’s not a difficult build. It builds into three pieces that you connect. So we made it inside and then carried it outside to connect. I screwed it down onto two plastic pallets to give it a base and to ensure it doesn’t blow over. My cats love it! We put a litter box in the bottom and some toys. They are always outside now

Bengal & Yorkie friend LOVE it!
My cat and her Yorkie buddy couldn’t be happier! The build quality is light wood, be careful not to splinter it. The value for our money was fine. I was Xpecting it to be larger - size wise, but it works for our purposes. It fit perfectly in the nook for our window. It took 2 people to assemble. The doors are kinda flimsy, just be careful with them. Other than that, it’s a fine addition to our patio furnishings.
