I kind of splurged on this candle, especially without smelling it first, and I’m so glad I did. It’s easily one of my favorite purchases. I haven’t even lit it yet, and it still makes my entire room smell warm, elevated, and expensive in the best way — never overpowering. It genuinely makes my space feel like a hotel room just by being open on a shelf. The scent is luxurious without being heavy, and the jar itself is neutral and beautiful enough to work with pretty much any decor. It’s definitely more than I’d normally spend on a candle, but the quality, scent, and overall experience make it feel completely worth it. I use it almost every day just by having it out, and it makes me so happy I bought it.

I love Madison Margiela.. but the candle straight up smells like rotten milk. I’m really sad, I have two others (when the rain stops and bubble bath) and they both smell so good. Just so disappointed )

I bought the Afternoon Delight candle and the By the Fireside candle while they were both on sale around thanksgiving. By the fireplace is my favorite, it’s actually incredible in my opinion, and is very similar to the hazelnut candle by Diptyque to me (one of my favorites). So I was pleasantly surprised! It has a great throw, however the afternoon delight candle had much less projection in my opinion. But, a lovely scent nonetheless. However, I wouldn’t buy it again at full price. But, I would repurchase by the fireplace and am even considering buying the perfume now.

Smells as described, lasts a while but I use a candle warmer instead of burning it

Always great. I love this scent and I think you get more of the wood burning element out of the candle. Love the fireplace smell without needing to use my fireplace.
