Yes. We have even used it to roll and place under an adult who had fallen. Then with one person on each side, move them to a sitting position and then lift them from the floor to a transfer chair. If you were to leave it underneath someone, I would use a pad or sheet to also cover for comfort and to prevent skin shearing or friction.

How is this Transfer Seat used to transfer a non-weightbearing patient from a wheelchair into a car seat?

It might be a little difficult to transfer to car. But with some maneuvering with a second or third person you might can do it.

Is the fabric waterproof or at least water resistant?

i’m not sure, i use a disposable bed pad in mine for my mom! it does a great job! it is truly a life saver! it is made from very rugged material!

It’s very helpful!

It is helpful to move someone who is not able to move by themselves. It does required two people. But it safe to use. Make sure that you do read how to use as not using appropriate can harm the person. Overall, i would recommend!
