OXFORD THESAURUS OF ENGLISH 3E: HB

Wonderful book. Anyone who likes English language should keep a copy of this book. Very exhaustive collection of synonyms--you will not find such collection in any other thesaurus. The paper is thick and printing quality is excellent. I just wish the font size could have been bigger, but I guess, the use of small fonts in dictionaries has become a tradition. Definitely buy this book if you are interested. Any price is not high enough for it. It will really boost your vocabulary. I have already fallen in love with this book. Thank you Oxford.

Recommend for every English literature lover. Thesaurus of words for different senses are given with examples. The only thing is that the book is a bit bulky and heavy in size and to some extent cumbersome to handle as well as the font size is very small. Rest of parts are ok.

Its an extremely helpful book for students and avid readers.however the size is huge due to vast content so it cannot be carried around easily.i am happy with my purchase though.

Cant quite find the words to discribe it

The product was used.The spine is broken, some page is tact, creasy.There are simple word in it.I think you have to pay monthly to Oxford to get a proper dictionary online.It coast 90£/year.I regret to buy it.The oxford is never help me learn english.

My wife is a crossword 'buff'. General Knowledge or Cryptic, she enjoys them all. Our original thesaurus had been well used and seen 'better days'. This new edition is 'far and away' better than the old one. Much more information and, I think, easier layout to use. It 'does the job' so a good buy!!!!!

The definitive authority on English expressions. A must have in any home... although with online versions I might be wrong.... If you prefer to have a physical copy (like I do), then really is a must have in your home library
