The charging cable does its job as intended. Very good charging speed. But the feel is not that of the cable which comes with the watch.

Toiled with this for 18 months, most the time does not work but then occasionally will, finally given up today and purchased an original lead. Surprised with the amount of positive reviews!

Solide gemachtes Originalkabel - aber was will mir die Warnung auf der Verpackung sagen?
Das Kabel ist wie von Garmin gewohnt tadellos verarbeitet, sitzt bei einer Fenix 6 Sapphire genau richtig und eignet sich nicht nur zum Laden (wie einige der 5-Euro-Billigkabel), sondern auch zur Datenübertragung.Der Preis ist allerdings zu hoch, was die Anwender natürlich erst dazu treibt, zu o.g. Billigstkabeln zu greifen. Hier sollte Garmin mal ernsthaft über die Preisgestaltung nachdenken.Was mich einigermaßen irritiert, ist der Warnhinweis auf der Verpackung. Was an diesem Kabel soll "Krebs und Beeinträchtigungen der Fortpflanzungsorgane" verursachen können, gemäß kalifornischem Proposition 65???Dort steht "Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Exposure to these chemicals may take place when products are acquired or used."Klingt besorgniserregend. Hat Garmin da Blei verwendet? Sondert das Kabelmaterial Bisphenol-A ab? Auch wenn kalifornische Gesetze zum Teil haarsträubend lebensfremd sind, würde mich hier eine Erklärung sehr interessieren.@Garmin: lest Ihr das hier?Den Hinweis habe ich jedenfalls so deutlich angebracht noch bei keinem Smartphone-Ladekabel gefunden, und Garmin macht sowas ja nicht freiwillig...Und wenn ein Markenherstellers sowas bei einem 25€-Kabel angeben muss, was ist dann erst in den Billigkabeln drin? ;-)Das hinterlässt alles einen faden Beigeschmack, trotz der subjektiv guten Qualität.
