Greek Honey Delight Loukoumi with Cretan Thyme Honey by Saviolakis Family 250gr

Keep in mind, I'm a beekeeper & actually eat my own honey "right out of the comb"...so when I say I'm impressed with this candy's "right from the comb" flavor, I have a pretty good idea what that means! ;-)On the 'cons' side, they had to pack it in a bag with some REALLY high cornstarch powdered sugar (to keep the cubes from merging into a giant sticky glob during shipping), but once you dust the powder off, the candies are gooey delight!

AMAZING. I loved these and went back and ordered two more boxes. I love the powdered sugar and tasted normal, contrary to the other reviews. The honey is perfect and they were so soft and melted in my mouth. Perfection! I had to edit my review to say that these things are crazy addictive! I already need to buy another box because my family and I can’t stop eating them. I can eat one box in one sitting. So so so good. Buyer beware! Once you try them you may not be able to stop!

I like how soft they are , others are usually hard and I wanted it to be mostly honey flavoured it feels like I have A mouthful of honey which other brands don’t even taste the honey . I like them and I didn’t want the thyme but u can’t really notice it so it doesn’t affect the taste which I like. I’ll buy it again. This is my second order.

Loukoumi as it should be--for newcomers, you must know that the ample powdered sugar is part of the confection--nice honey taste, not cloyingly sweet but satisfying! And a great value! A great introduction to this traditional Greek sweet for first-time tasters!

Tastes like honey drenched with uncooked flour merged with a unflavored and unsweetened jelly Bean. If you want to taste real Turkish Delight, try Hazer Baba's rose flavored Turkish Delights. If you want to eat gummy raw flour, buy this Greek stuff. (To be clear, the 'flour' in this Greek stuff appears to be horrible unsweet powdered sugar.)

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She said they were okay but wasn’t too impressed. The amount of powdered sugar is a bit overwhelming, and the overall sweetness of the dessert/ candy itself is just too sickeningly sweet. If you like extremely sweet things, you’ll love this treat.

This is the best "Delight" candy I've had in the U.S. Divine flavor, silky smooth texture. The consistency is on the soft side, but it needs to be so because it firms up with air exposure. Beautiful packaging. Received my order quickly. Will most definitely purchase again!
