Can it be on shoes lile Oxfords, Derbys, Loafers to be followed up by wax polish to provide shine?

We cannot advise use of this product with any other purpose other than for horse tack, it' s intended use, I am sorry. It does seem others have used it on any leather but we cannot recommend it.

Is this different from Ko-cho-line, or the same re-branded?

I know the Carr, Day and Martin is about 100 years old so probably different. I can say it's one of the best for conditioning. Only company approved by the Queen of England. Carries her seal.

I have a full Aniline leather sofa . Any idea if this product would be good for full aniline leather as a conditioner waterproofer? thanks

This Carr Day and Martin Belvoir Leather Balsam is a lovely product. I have a beautiful retro-style sofa in Italian red leather, and this leather balsam has brought it up a treat, nourishing the leather and bringing a lustre to the leather. Not only is it great on the sofa, it has also added new life to old leather boots and shoes, so it is a versatile product too, and well worth the outlay. Furthermore, as others have mentioned, it has a lovely honeyed aroma. Splendid product!
