Lost to the sea...
Because I have a small head, and I was pleasantly surprised that these didn't totally overwhelm my face like most sunglasses do. So, that's the good thing.I bought these to try out while surfing, and while I didn't mind the water spots nearly as much as I thought I would; sadly, the second time I ever wore them they got lost in the surf. And I'm a rank beginner that doesn't go out in large waves at all. They were tightened all the way, but the strap is designed to be easy to slide open and closed, so I assume it just opened up enough to slip off my head, which wouldn't have had to be all that much considering the small head issue. At least they're relatively inexpensive?I'll also say that although the the frames themselves seemed rather sturdy, you could sort of move the lens around a bit if you tugged on it. It made me think that at some point the lenses might pop out, which obviously wouldn't be too good. Given that the main attraction of these - staying on your head while surfing - didn't exactly work for me, obviously I can't recommend. Too bad, because my eyes did feel better after the day I wore them.

Functional, Distortion Free, Bargain Price
The seller offered these at 1/2 the price of most other sellers, included free shipping, and sent them promptly. They arrived earlier than expected, so I had the chance to use them body-boarding two weeks ago in the 46-50 degree NJ surf. As others have noted, these do fog up, and aside from being a bit narrow, they do work & fit fairly well. They remained secure on my head while duck-diving and riding waves, and drained well after being immersed. A solution to the fogging is to dip/rinse them often, but some droplets of water may remain and cause some distortion until they dry. On land they work fine, and I will certainly use them while kayaking, sailing & fishing. I plan on using these during early morning sessions where the rising sun is often directly in my face while looking for approaching waves. A small and worthwhile investment to help preserve my eyes for future years!

Good sunglasses, they stay put
Nice sunglasses, do the job with no issues. I wore these in the ocean/at the beach for a week. I really like the tint color (gray) very neutral and helpful at reducing glare. They are polarized and you can see fish in the water better because of that. The strap on the back doesn't have as much adjustment as I'd like but they work. I have an XL hat size... but regular baseball caps usually fit me with no issue.I think you could accomplish the same thing with a good set of croakies on any pair of sunglasses you already have.

My 2nd pair, just as essential as the 1st.
Truly polarized eye protection for the waterman. I just bought my 2nd pair to replace my old ones after losing them bodysurfing. Yes, bodysurfing. They actually held on pretty good until I got some major shorepound. They worked great for 2yrs of surfing 3x/wk prior to that. Easily cleaned, not easily scratched, yes - a bit goofy looking - but hey, you only have one pair of eyes, & I sure don't want cataracts/pterygium at 30. I also wear a long sleeve rash guard, wide brim hat & spf 50 on the face, neck & legs, just so you know I'm serious about sun protection. In Hawaii, you have to be. Don't worry, I get plenny vitamin D walking around...

Great Sunglasses for Jet Skiing
As mentioned in other reviews, the strap for these sunglasses is non-elastic nylon strap. Consequently, it has a more limited maximum size as compared to usual straps for glasses. Not recommended if you have a really large head. However, this is an advantage in a sense, as you do get a very secure fit when wearing them (at a minor sacrifice to overall comfort). I primarily wanted a set of glasses for jet skiing that would help with wind/splashes, and these did the trick. Only marked it down a notch due to that strap. Otherwise, they work quite well.

Good for the price and function
Good for the price and function. I usually only wear expensive glasses but I sail a Laser and end up in the water a fair amount of the time. Used these over the summer and I didn't loose them, so for me they were a success. The 4 star rating is because they did give me a bit of a headache after a while, so not sure they are optically correct? I only wear them when I'm sailing so it hasn't been that much of a problem for me.

Super function, super ugly
The stay on with an easily adjustable strap, ventilate so they don't fog, have a rubber nose part so they don't slip down. Down sides are - the strap at it's longest is a bit short so it's hard to put them on after a baseball cap. Ugly. Especially for women. I dislike that the vents are so obvious. There are versions where they are a bit more hidden.

One size does NOT fit all.
After reading the favorable reviews I had high hopes that the SeaSpecs were truly one-size-fits-all. Unfortunately that is not the case. I am 6'3" 230 lbs and it was wrong to assume these glasses would fit my large face. I have a large nose with a high bridge making the glasses sit so high on my face that the lower portion of the frame was 1/2" below my sightline. There was no way it would have afforded any wind protection, let alone glare protection from the water. It is a shame SeaSpecs does not make a larger style frame.
