Hi, please tell me about the security on these. Can someone eavesdrop on our conversations? Is the communication encrypted?

I purchased these units less than two months ago. Recently I have heard multiple conversations coming through the intercom. The other night I had to unplug my units because of the chatter.

I want to use in a Doctor office. Does it have a beep to notify? I want the doctor to press a button and let us know he is on his way out of room.

Of course, this intercoms have a beep function to notify. There has a CALL button on each unit, press it and the other devices with the same channel code will receive the ring.

how many intercom units can be run on one system? if you can run more than four can you buy separate units to add to the system?

Yes, this intercom have 10 channel and 3 codes, so it  can be run more than four. but we suggest that you run it less than 10 units in one system. Besides, you can buy separate units to add to the system, it's easy to add it.
