Kwik Goal Captain Armband

I coach U6 girls soccer and find that the Captain armband is a very good motivator for my girls. The girl whose parents are responsible for bringing the snacks that week is named the team captain the for that match. I tell her about the importance of setting a good example for her teammates and she is in the group of girls that starts the match, leads the team cheer, and is responsible for handing out the snacks to each of her teammates. I've not noticed any problem with the quality of the material. It is a little large one a few of my girls but fits just right on some of the others. All in all though I would say it is a tad large for U6 (U6 girls anyway), but with the jersey sleeve tucked underneath it hasn't really caused any problems and the girls are really excited when it is their week to wear it. I actually just purchased a second so that if the original becomes lost of destroyed none of the girls will have to miss their turn as team captain. I hope this helps.

As a coach, you want to give incentive to the players who listen and excel during practice. It's a small price to pay to see how proud a kid is to wear a captain's arm band during a game. This fit on a 10 year old just fine. It's only seen a couple of games and I don't really expect it to last more than one season...but so far it has been worth the price.

I use these for my U9 girls team. They are great for use to celebrate players on the team (everyone gets turns being captain). As others have mentioned, the bands are too big for arms of younger players. I just have them pull them over their shin guards at this age and they work fine with a little work getting them over their cleats.

I got these for my kids in U12 to have as a cool thing to make them stand out and feel like a captain. They worked fine however the kids just don't like wearing stuff on the arm apparently and it really didn't go as planned. There was nothing wrong with the arm band. It was just the kids are not into it.

If you only pay $5-$6 for these then they're worth the money but they aren't very durable. I have 2 captains that wear them throughout practices and games and I have to replace them after 6-8 weeks. They tear pretty easily. The youth size is still a little too big for smaller children (8-12) but my players just wear them over their calf/shin. I'm sure taking it on and off over a cleat only contributes to the wear but I've found that Kwik-Goal makes a nicer Arm Band that's much more durable for roughly the same price.

Runs on the smaller size but perfect for my girls. Would purchase again. They didn't seem to lose shape or stretch like some of the other ones I have purchased before. Washed and dried nicely keeping it's shape and stretch. Usually by the end of the season I throw them away but I didn't have to this year!

Ripped on the third use. So, it's an overpriced piece of elastic cloth. But, the kids like it!

Bought this for our girls soccer team and name a different captain each game. Great quality and the girls love it.

Maybe slightly large for kids 7 and younger. Depends on the side of the child. Will fit most children ages 8+, especially if they wear this over their sleeve. Purchased for summer sports.

This is good for kids under 12 maybe too small for older kids.
