My granddaughter asked for one of these...not this particular one, but a "Jack-In-The-Box." I have to say I gave it a 4 star rating only because it isn't made the way they used to be made. This is cute but not made as sturdy as I would have liked and as I expected. I found it hard for my grandbaby to put Jack back in the box and latch it to use it again. The music is ok, but again I am comparing to what I remember from older versions of these toys which seemed to have a nice wound music box sound. My granddaughter loved it and that is all that matters in the end as long as it is sturdy enough to last throughout a childhood or two and remain a safe toy to play with. I think this toy meets those expectations with general use and normal wear. I recommend looking at several options prior to purchasing a toy like this since small children have to be able to get the Jack in the box each time they want to start over. This one can be a little difficult for a small child to maneuver and that can be a bit frustrating.

This was so much fun to share with my 3 month old grandson. He loves the bright colors and smiles the minute he sees or hears the music.

My grandson never knew what a Jack in the Box was before I mentioned it. He was curious so I bought him one and he’s getting a real kick out of it! Brought back a lot of memories for me.

Great sound quality brings ya back to your childhood, easy to use and yes that pop just when you expect it. Lol
