Can you add extra pages to to the portfolio if not how many pages does it come with?

I can't see a way to add pages, but, it comes with 24 sleeves and each has a black insert. So I'm able to fit two issues worth of artwork into one portfolio (48 11x17 pages-back to back). I hope this helps. I'm really happy with this portfolio and about to order another one

Will the sheets that come with the album fit 11 x 17 posters?

The Itoya Portfolio is great for displaying all types of art print even posters in their plastic sheets, but keep in mind these plastic sheets that can hold art are binded on the borders which actually decrease the size of holding art by a small margin. BUT Itoya makes multiple size porfolios; i suggest to buy one that's a bit bigger. i believe you can buy one that's 13X19 (around $26) or bigger of course. i had an art print that didn't fit (luckily the only one) by a few tenths so yeah definitely buy one a bit bigger on the safe side.
