Exllent knife victorinox
hai is liyai lai laiai. I like Victorinox knife very much because I am a chef. The pleasure I get from cutting with this knife is not available with any other knife. According to me, the price of the knife appealed to me more because I find this knife to be excellent and sharp in cutting, that's why I bought it

Impressed
I'm impressed. Tried few knifes before, but this is really good quality. I could have hoped for better handle, but I guess in India, compared to other bad quality products, this limitation I can accept. The blade hold the sharpness. I just need to hone once a while to get best performance. And sharpen once every 4-6months.

Light, thin knife
Its a thin blade made for making those precise cuts. It is minimally flexible which is perfect. Its lightweight. For this price I do wish the handle was better though. The blade remains sharp and is easy to resharpen. For people complaining that it gets blunt after few uses, do note that every knife will do that. Use it on your kitchen slab and it'll get blunt even faster. Use a wooden chopping board, buy a honing steel or learn how to use a whetstone to keep it sharp. Like everything else worthwhile, this will need maintenance too.

Doesn't have the right balance
When you chop, a very light knife doesn't help and this knife , though very sharp is way too light

This is a quality Santoku knife and everyday workhorse for me. The only things I don't use it for is to slice tomatoes and bread, I use a serrated bread knife instead. Otherwise, this is my all-in-one knife. It handles meat (boneless), squashes, and tough veggies well (carrots, beets). I have a larger chef's knife, but I almost never need to use it because this is so versatile and reliable. The knife is very sturdy and has stayed sharp, no issues with it after using it for more than a year and a half with frequent use. I like that there is enough space between the bottom of the knife and the grip section for your fingers, which I need for my grip. The quality of the knife is unmatched for this price! Highly recommend! The only issue may be whether the handle width is comfortable for you, which varies based on personal preference. I can see some people may think it's a bit thin, but unless you're doing a lot of chopping at once, this likely isn't too big of a concern.

Coupe très bien quand on le déballe. Belle prise en main. Solidité. Compacité. A voir si ça tient dans le temps

Très bien, une coupe nickel, léger et agréable à tenir... a voir dans le temps.

This is most sharpest knife. Could cut through tough green Mango seeds. Need to be careful while using.
