HAUT TON Dolphin Spinning Reel, 5+1BB Saltwater Fishing Reels

Picked this reel up at $15. Good deal. 3000 size. Reel is smooth, drag is great. Durability is the only question, we'll see. At the price, it's not a steal, but a good deal. Recommend.

The Haut Ton Dolphin Advance Edition is an exceptional spinning reel that delivers far above its price point. It’s nearly flawless, performing like a reel twice its cost. It easily earns a solid four stars and is highly recommended for serious anglers and weekend warriors alike. Quality and Build: The quality is immediately apparent. The body feels rigid and durable, with zero flex even under heavy load. The tolerances are tight, suggesting this reel is built to last through many seasons of hard fishing. Functionality and Feel: The functionality is buttery smooth. The drag system is reliable and fine-tuning is effortless, holding strong against spirited runs. It has a fantastic feel when reeling; the handle rotation is fluid, and the retrieve is consistently quiet and responsive, making it easy to detect even the slightest bites. Balance and Aesthetics: In terms of ergonomics, the balance on my rod is superb. It sits comfortably and minimizes fatigue during long casting sessions, which is crucial. Visually, the reel’s sophisticated look is striking—the pastel blue and purple metallic finish and modern design give it a premium aesthetic that really stands out. Value for Money: Where this reel truly shines is value for money. You are getting top-tier performance features, excellent materials, and great handling without the premium brand price tag. It is one of the best investments you can make in the mid-range category. Why Not 5 Stars? While the reel is fantastic, the included handle knob is slightly smaller than I prefer for all-day comfort, causing some minor hand strain after several hours. A quick upgrade to a custom knob fixes this, but out of the box, it’s the one small detail keeping it from a perfect score. The Verdict: If you want a reel that offers amazing functionality, great quality, and superb balance without emptying your wallet, the Haut Ton Dolphin Advance Edition is an excellent choice.

Reel works great, very reasonable price, delivered when promised. Would buy again.

This is a well made reel for a good low price. Reel is very smooth on cast and retrieve. For a lower priced reel you can't go wrong for this purchase.

Very smooth reel and stylish too! Love the metallic blue and purple colors. Perfect size for basic fishing. Great quality for price.

Not only is the reel disposable meaning you can’t get it wet. But I just threw it away. Even though I fish salt water when I get home I dip my reels into a 55 gallon drum in rinse water. Well the internals got hard to operate I disassembled and oiled and greased with Penn lubricant. Took fishing again and during the trip it was getting stiff again. The real is sweet to look at but the mechanism inside is not even suited for fresh water. What a waist.

Smooth action. Nice looking reel. A little too small for long line spooling.

Fantastic spinning reel! Smooth performance, durable build, and great drag. Perfect for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. Highly recommended!”

Have just started using it, maybe twice now, very quiet reel, seems good so far for a cheap reel. I like it.
