Not according to the Ingredients I'm looking at on the packet. No mention of "lye" in the list. I've taken a photo of the packet, but this Amazon facility only accepts videos.

Where are the actual ingredients listed as I won't buy anything containing citric acid as it is derived from black mold?

If you look at the comments someone has asked for the list of ingredients and the company has provided this. Doesn't appear to include citric acid. Hope this helps.
