I recently bought these boots and they have exceeded my expectations in every way. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period needed. I wore them for a long hike and my feet stayed comfortable and supported the entire time.The build quality is top-notch, and they feel durable enough to handle any kind of terrain. Plus, they look great and have a nice, rugged style that works well for both outdoor activities and casual wear. Overall, these boots are a fantastic choice, and I’m really happy with them. Definitely a full five stars from me!

True to fit with winter socks. A tad big with summer socks if you do not wear winter socks order half size smaller. No problems with them so the value for the money is great. if I was looking for boots again I would buy these again. 💯%

Hoka being a luxury brand and Ozark Trail being a premium big box store brand.My shoe size is 13(US mens) wide. These hiking boots are true to size. My wide and flat feet are extremely comfortable with additional room for layering socks in the winter. The waterproof hiking boots I received are low profile black on black with gray souls. Out of the box, the waterproofing seems to be effective; but, online reviews suggests, "this is temporary" and when the boots receives some usage and wear-n-tear they will struggle keeping water out. Accompanying this review I recorded a video of me testing the waterproofing of these boots... Although new out the box it doesn't demonstrate how effective it is after having wear and tear.I believe these boots are comparable with Ozark Trail, with their fit and finish. Price comparable to Ozark Trail, with its value for dollar...and more competitively priced than Hokas. I would suggest these boots for your daily driver for it being true to size, comfort, insulation, and waterproofing. Making them a hassle-free choice for the money you won't regret.

Boots and I have a love/hate relationship. You see, I'm difficult to fit. Been that way my whole life. I have wide feet and I have flat arches. When trying on boots for fit, that's a difficult combination. So I end up buying and then returning almost every pair. But I really like having boots for inclement weather. I liked these Nortiv 8 boots for many of their features (waterproofing as well as foot support and traction) and their looks so I ordered them 1 size up from the normal size I wear (to compensate for my wide feet).When I tried them on, I knew I had made a good choice. First, I like their lacing system. It allows me to make them snug and the upper construction provides plenty of support. The rubber outsole with its deep lug pattern provide much appreciated traction and however they're waterproofing these boots, my feet remain dry even in the pouring rain. Coupled with their strong rugged good looks these boots are winners.

Hiking over here in the PNW, you definitely need a waterproof set of boots, and these are a great option. These have kept my feet dry while trekking through mud and swampy hikes. I'd say they're about average in weight when compared to other major brand hiking boots. They're super comfortable and they fit true to size. Overall, they're a great quality hiking boot that won't break the bank.

Very true to size. My feet measures 11", and I order size 11. Well, it fits like a glove all around. It gives a feeling of safety if you are walking in uneven surfaces like around rocks, hiking, etc. It was not design poorly. Lightweight, flexible and easy to put on. It has a good traction, and is waterproof. Does not get hot in the 90s degrees Fahrenheit, under direct sun. I hear lots of good things about this brand where I live and it is true. These are very comfortable indeed. There is only one thing that I will change and thats the insole. Not the best for me after a whole day walking. Still worth the money. Would definetly order again.
