Strangely good
I don't like to buy fancy stuff when something conventional already works well. But this is not just a fancy replacement of a traditional stapler. Their advertisement seems to emphasize on this "gentle touch" or one-finger operation, which really is doing dissuasion for people like me who think it's foolish to spend three times as much on a stapler to just save your arm from a little bit of work. But wow, this stapler is strangely good. The best thing about this stapler is that it does up to 30 pages so easily and reliably using just the common staples. None of the other compact staplers I owned could reliably reach beyond 20 pages, which is a big problem because a lot of my documents are in the range of 20 to 30 pages. I have a largeer stapler that does 60 pages, but it uses a much larger staple and is an overkill for anything that is under 40 pages. So there is a huge gap. This stapler is the solution which I didn't know existed. It works so effortlessly and reliably that I almost couldn't resist tearing it apart to see how it does this wonder. Better not to. I'll set aside my curiosity and just enjoy its performance.

Great stapler for personal use & Excellent Customer Service!
Loving the metal construction of this stapler. It has a nice weight to it and can be used to staple items onto bulletin boards. The tray will automatically slide out when you open the stapler up, but just pop it back in and you'll be good to go. Fits standard size staples.UPDATE:The stapler stopped working after only a few months of use (bought in December, stopped working around April?). The staple would not go through the paper correctly. Only one edge (point) of the staple would go through the paper while the other edge stayed on top of the page but flattened to the side. I saw that another reviewer had the same problem but was able to get a replacement so I emailed their warranty form to customer service.UPDATE #2: I didn't get a response to the email, so I called them and actually got a hold of a very nice lady on the phone immediately (didn't have to wait a long time to get a hold of a live person! nice!). She had my warranty claim on file and told me they shipped a replacement a few days after they received it. As promised, they sent me a replacement stapler!Reverted back to 4 stars, and will go up to 5 once I test out the replacement and see if it lasts for more than a few months this time!Very pleased with their warranty & customer service!

Do not purchase, especially if you are a teacher.
Do not buy the metal version. Of the two I purchased, one stopped working almost immediately. My stapler works great, but my wife's is absolute garbage. Something with the spring mechanism within the unit is defective. It still staples, but not completely--the metal prongs aren't pressed with enough force and stick out from the backside of the paper. Unfortunately it sat on her desk for almost a year and now I can't take advantage of Amazon's return policy. If I would have realized that this stapler doesn't have a hinge, I would have never purchased it in the first place. The ability for a stapler to hinge and fasten papers to walls is an absolute necessity for a teacher. My advice: buy the similar version of this stapler from the Staples department store. It has a much more reliable stapling mechanism, and also has a hinge to staple to other surfaces. Don't be fooled by the metal body of the PaperPro brand--I have two of the plastic-bodied Staples brand staplers in my classroom for student use, and they are in excellent shape.

Easy squeeze stapler.
Compared to standard staplers this one is awesome. Staples so easily that you can’t even tell it’s done its job.

Easy Functionality, Unwanted Noise
While the Bosch Inspire stapler boasts ease of use, its performance is not overall the best. Its light, operates easily, requires minimal effort and binds effectively. However, the loud noise emitted upon each use is reminiscent of a BB gun, and too loud and disruptive for my office environment. For those seeking a quieter option for their workspace, this stapler may not be the ideal choice.

Five stars only for operation, not for loading staples
Well, it works great, five stars, once you figure out how to load the staples. Zero stars for instructions on loading. No instructions except some diagrams on the bottom which are just clues, really, not instructions. It was a puzzle to play with, but I finally figured it out. Once you know how, it's simple and easy. The bottom part (or bed) of the stapler has to slide back. Turn the stapler upside down, push up on the front lip of the bed, and it slides back. Then load the staples into the slot with the points pointing upward. Then slide the bed shut until it clicks. Ready to go. If you look on the other side of the bed when it is slid back, you will see a rail and you might think you should lay the staples on it, the way a regular stapler works, but that's not right. Once you know the procedure, its no harder than a regular stapler, slide, load, close. Its just that everything is upside down from a regular stapler. Five stars for operation, no technique or muscle needed for going thru a lot of sheets, just push, and click, its done.
