The look is not appealing and gets dirty easily. However it does serves as protection to my carpet stairs.

Worked well and as expected.

I have just bought this to cover a deep pile, high quality wall- to- wall carpeted staircase which is off-white. We have just gotten a second pup so we need it to prevent paw prints on the off white carpet. I looked at many options before deciding on this one, happy to see the beige color option and some good photos showing the color. However, the one I received is not a good looking beige, it is a pink-ish beige which has a cheap look to it. I am disappointed because I really wanted this to work. I wasn't expecting gorgeous, but I wasn't expecting it to look as cheap as it does. Not sure I can work with this color. Has anyone else received a better color? Please leave a review! Or a recommendation for another product!

Ok this stuff is AWSOME! I worried when some reviews said it was thin and messy looking I found neither comment to be true. It’s not carpet it’s a carpet “cover”. Take a little time and gently tuck the cover into each tread and it’s smooth as can be. Doesn’t move and check the picture looks pretty smooth to me. Love this stuff. I need to update this review. I thought this product was amazing until today, when I tossed it into a cold washer and cool dryer, to find it is now two feet short of covering my stairs. None of the reveiws I read said this thing shrunk, if I had known I would have cut it longer to allow for shrinkage. Thought this was going to be great for my dogs on the stairs, and turns out I pretty much just tossed $100 out the window. Be Warned....It Shrinks!
